The salesman, Cal Willden, was not your typical car salesman. I felt comfortable with him from the start and knew that he was looking out for my best interests. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asked about buying a VW. The experience was painless and at no point in the process did the sales staff (in particular, David Brown) make me feel uncomfort about buying a VW. Cal is a straight up guy-he'll do what he can but at the end of the day-no games which is good. Wish they had more VW minivans on the lot, but i liked what they had. He was very professional. It took several phone calls and 3 visits to get replacement touchup paint for my car. It had to be ordered and was promised in a week, but it took almost 2 months to arrive. It was not an expensive item, but they definitely missed my expectations on this and gave me the feeling that it was an ultra-low priority for them. When I asked them about getting my car repaired under the 12 year rust warranty they told me I would have to wait for a factory rep to come in and assess the car. After visiting 3 times and calling several times (over a 3 month period) I gave up and went elsewhere to get the work done because they never made me an appointment with the factory rep or told me they were at the dealership for their monthly visit. I have also asked them about servicing my vehicle a couple of times and have always been told they are booked solid. In both cases I went elsewhere because it would be at least 3 days before they could look at my vehicle. More
Run do not walk away from these people. Tried to hit me with a $750.00 fee at closing, then have had massive trouble getting warranty work done.
