I made an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait. Got there right on time, and my car took 45 minutes before it could get looked at. Took car in for alignment, and window seal issue. I would prefer to have updates provided to me, if I am waiting for a certain amount of time. More
The service at this dealership is outstanding - they even start my car so it warms up while I'm taking care of the bill. The service department has been courteous and easy to deal with during visits for both of our VW vehicles. I was in the market for a very specific Jetta Sportwagen that proved to be quite elusive. In fact, I had already tried the other VW dealership in town and was rather frustrated with their inability to secu that proved to be quite elusive. I completed an online request for VW of South Charlotte and was amazed and pleased with how quickly and effectively Cal Willden took care of me. It was, again, a very difficult to find car and he went out of his way to track it down for me. The online aspect was especially convenient. The dealership building is brand new and beautiful. The folks there really seem to know what they're doing. I can't recommend Cal or VW of South Charlotte highly enough. More

The service department is awesome. They've been able to get me in on my schedule and get me out quickly. With two kids and one on the way, efficiency is key. It says right on the CPO brochure that it will not pass a Certified Pre-Own We purchased a 2009 CC with a CPO warranty. They didn't have the 2nd key. It says right on the CPO brochure that it will not pass a Certified Pre-Owned test without the 2nd key. We waited 2 months for the 2nd key. It took several emails and phone calls to finally get the key. You can deduce from that what you like. We were promised a proper detailing of the car, since it was late when we took delivery and it had over-spray all over the gauges and the windows looked bad. An appointment was made for Saturday at 9:30 AM. This was to pick up the 2nd key and have the car detailed. We waited until 12:30 for delivery of the car.Joerg was kind enough to give us an update after 2 plus hours of waiting. The car had the same issues as before. Overspray on the gauges and the back window severely smeared. I'm disappointed in the level of service. If this is their benchmark for customer satisfaction, I will not be doing business with them in the future. More

I recently purchased a 2011 VW Jetta Sportswagen TDI from this dealer. The salesperson, David Brown, was very straight forward and honest. We made the deal over the phone as they were closing on a Sunday night and several employees stayed to complete the process after hours, including the hour drive it took us to get there. During the purchase, we noticed some slight scratching on the paint and the driver's side back window made a terrible noise when rolling down. The service department, Joerg Kuehni in particular, has been very professional, honest, and friendly and has taken care of all issues in an expedited manner. I would definitely recommend this dealership for the respectful way they treat their customers. Oh, and by the way, I LOVE MY TDI!! More
