Salesman Kent McClure kept things light and pressure free. My wife and I knew immediately we would feel good about working with him. We came in on a Saturday to look around and left to think about it. We called him on Sunday and he came in on his day off to help us. He laid out our options, remained flexible, and never once made us feel like we "had to sign today or else!" His manager, Brian Soboh, and the finance manager, Fadi Saab, were friendly, courteous, and treated us like VIPs the entire time. It's rare for me not to have some sort of buyer's remorse when making a big purchase. Nevertheless I know I got the best deal on an awesome car. I had already been to several dealerships in Charleston, SC to look at what they had advertised on the internet only to find out, even after speaking with them prior to my visit, the vehicles advertised were not even on their lots. Thankfully, I expanded my search to include the Charlotte area and to my surprise "Volkswagen of South Charlotte had exactly what we were looking for, the price was right and they really had the vehicle on their lot and agreed to hold it for me till I could drive up to Charlotte. My wife and I drove up to Charlotte that same day and found that the Beetle was exactly as advertised and described, we took a test drive and returned to the dealership to sign the papers. This experience was definitely worth the drive from Summerville and the sales people were very professional, knowledgeable, NOT PUSHY, and most of all HONEST. The best experience I ever had buying a car in my 70+ years. Michael Passaio and Kent McClure were the great sales people I dealt with and Kent actually called me several days later to make sure we made it home OK and to make sure the car was doing fine. More
