SANTOSUSSO SERVICE MANAGER WHO COMPLETED OUR ADD ONS TO VEHICLE AND FURTURE SERVICE ETC. AGAIN A GREAT ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE. I've had 3 separate terrible experiences with this service department. It's not only myself who's had terrible experiences but also friends, colleagues and other service centers. From my own experiences and others it seems if you do not purchase a new vehicle from this dealership then don't expect good or fair service. My first experience with VW service was when I brought my car in because the check engine light came on in my Beetle. After I dropped the car off they called me later and said that my locking lug nuts were rusted so they had replaced them with non locking lug nuts because "You don't need those you're in Vermont". I followed up about the check engine light and he said don't worry about that we reset it so it won't come on again. A month later, it came back on again and then it was deja vu all over again with these knuckle heads. My check engine light was on again they diagnosed that it was a malfunctioning warranty part. They said that they could replace the part but that the problem would need to occur again. I drove 5 min. down Shelburne Rd and the light came back on again. They finally replaced the part while giving me attitude the whole time. I had to pull teeth to get a rental. Third time I had my battery replaced and my radio wouldn't turn back on. Work was done at another shop but I was aware that this could happen when replacing a battery. The shop told me that I could call the dealership and they could look the code up for my radio to reset it based off of my vin number. When I asked the service dept this they said this was a difficult task and that I would need to do the following to find this out: Make a service appointment, they would have to take my dash apart, take the radio out, try and find the code and then they would be able to figure out which code was needed. Bull Crap. Rip Off Alert! I called the dealership where I bought my car Northtown Volkswagen in NY (Great Dealership) they gave me the code over the phone. Problem solved. I've lived in 3 states and had my car serviced at 4 different dealerships and this is the ONLY dealership that I've ever had an issue with. CONSUMER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! More
We had an issue with getting me the car that I purchased from the port. We waited 10 days and saw no end in site...they called me and gave me a better car for the same price. My experience with South Burlington VW was the easiest sales experience I have EVER had with any dealership. My salesman Terry Wetmore has the best personality and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. sales experience I have EVER had with any dealership. Our only negative experience with this dealership was being passed off to 2 other sale people before we were finally introduced to our sales person. We had a really great experience with Browne. I just purchased a 2011 VW Golf TDI and am very happy with the experience and the customer service I received at Volkswagon South Burlington. I was indecisive and Ken and Chris were very patient and wil with the experience and the customer service I received at Volkswagon South Burlington. I was indecisive and Ken and Chris were very patient and willing to do whatever I needed to feel comfortable with my choice. They worked with me on the price and found the car I decided on.
