At first I was disappointed as I went to see a car that wasn’t ready, not to mention, the guy I made the appointment with wasn’t there. But then I met Mike. Mike was fantastic, and he is literally the reas wasn’t ready, not to mention, the guy I made the appointment with wasn’t there. But then I met Mike. Mike was fantastic, and he is literally the reason I went back to give him a chance. Mike worked really hard at making sure I was accommodated. Mike went above and beyond and really hustled for us. Their website lists enticing "Dealer Discounts" advertising a vehicle price below MSRP, but then will add massive mark ups disguised as mysterious "addendums and packages." Specifically, they advertised a $2,382 discount off MSRP only to add $5k for market adjustment and a mandatory "protection package" for $2,995 that I could not opt out of. In addition, the manager (MJ Hafeez) massively undervalued my trade-in offering $6k - $8k below Kelly Blue Book. All of this was explicitly discussed, but not disclosed when speaking with the salesperson over the phone prior to making an hour drive to the dealer. Volkswagen of Orland Park intentionally misrepresented the vehicle price and withheld details on non-optional packages. VW makes great cars, but please take your business elsewhere. More
