The staff at Volkswagen of Orland Park is both friendly and professional. Our salesperson, Drew, knew the type of car we were looking for and let me know as soon as he had one that met our criteria. Throug and professional. Our salesperson, Drew, knew the type of car we were looking for and let me know as soon as he had one that met our criteria. Throughout the process, both Drew and Steve respected my busy schedule and was patient with me as we communicated and negotiated over a few days. I never felt pressured. This is the second car I have purchased through VW of Orland Park, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. More

After a lot of research I decided on a Volkswagen but couldn't decide on a model. Kamila walked me through the 3 models I liked and I got to test drive all 3. On my final test drive I fell in love with the 2012 Jetta GLI. Without the patience and guidance of the staff at VW of Orland Park I would still be driving a clunker. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and especially my experience at VW of Orland Park. More
Very friendly, polite and easy to work with (Eric Davidson). Previous experiences I've had were nowhere close as pleasant. Dealers just get straight to the point. Davidson). Previous experiences I've had were nowhere close as pleasant. Dealers just get straight to the point. More
I drove my vehicle into the dealership for service due to my temperature light indicating the temp was high. Again, I state I drove my vehicle in which ran perfectly fine other than the indication of the temp being high. I was told by the service writer it was probably the thermostat or the water-pump. He also said that it could be the thermo sensing switch. The service writer also indicated that more than likely I was going to have all that done, I may as well do the timing belts as well. At that time I was given an estimate around $1300.00 I asked are you sure that's what the problem is and he said they would do a diagnostic and let me know the results. He said this would cost $99 and if I had the work done it would be applied towards the total bill. This all occurred on a Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend. Next the service technician says that since the temp was high, there could be a number of other things wrong as well. I asked how can we be sure. He said he'd go over the car and have answers for me and have the car ready by the next day, Saturday. I'm thinking, really that quickly? A friend drove me home and I awaited their call the next day. The dealership service dept. opens at 7am on Saturday so I called around 9:30am. I spoke with a different service writer who indicated that my car would not be ready and I told him, that's not what I was told yesterday. I got a ride to the dealership to see what was going on. I spoke with the tech working on my car and he indicated he started on the car and pulled the cylinder head off, but didn't get to finish his diagnosis because he had to work on other cars. He said he'd have to put everything back together to do the testing on the cylinder head because the engine needed to be warm to perform the test. The following Tuesday, I was told the cylinder head was bad and I'd need another one and the price for all the work would be $4,600.00. I told them I didn't have that type of money and I'd just pick the car up. This time the service writer tells my all right it's going to be $289 for the diagnosis. I told him that's not what he told me before. We went back and forth and finally he said just come get the car. I arrive to pick up my car and they hand me the service report saying they never drove the car, they never started the car and I should have it towed. In addition to this they parked all the way at the end of the parking lot as far away from the building as possible. I'm thinking where is all this coming from, how are they able to perform the necessary test without driving or starting the car. I go out start the car and it's making terrible sounds and running rough. I got down the street from the dealership and the car stopped. I had the car towed home. I then had the car towed to another dealership and told them of the initial problems and how the car ran after I picked it up from the dealership. They did a diagnosis and opened the engine up and showed me the damage that had been done to the pistons due to a foreign object being placed in the cylinders and when I started the car major damage was done. The service tech said judging by the perfect round size of each mark on the pistons that it seemed like ball bearings were placed in the cylinders. He said when the car was started, the ball bearings were sucked into the cylinders and when the pistons moved up and down, whamo! I immediately contacted the other dealership and they denied sabotaging my engine. I have pictures of the torn apart engine as well as pictures of the pistons. I’ve been in constant contact with VW Orland Park (Service Mgr. Ed and Dealership Owner Joe) with no success of resolving this issue. My car started fine, drove fine when I took it to Orland Park Volkswagen and should have been the same when I got it back if I didn't receive service. This dealership is not fit to work on cars if they take no responsibility for their actions. I would expect more from true professionals. More
My plan last Friday was to walk into the dealership to simply get a couple of booklets, a business card, and return at a later date. However, when I stepped inside Volkswagen of Orland Park EVERYTHING cha simply get a couple of booklets, a business card, and return at a later date. However, when I stepped inside Volkswagen of Orland Park EVERYTHING changed in an instant! The environment was so calm and relaxing that for a moment I completely forgot I was in a dealership. After taking a test drive and speaking with RICH STEPHAN and Sebastian I was ready to make a purchase! It was just that simple because there was absolutely no hassle; they were EXTREMELY professional, personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. The transaction could not have gone any smoother and I really appreciate their patience. I can’t say enough about the customer service rendered, it was absolutely priceless!! I was SOOOOOOO excited to purchase my first Volkswagen! It was the BEST shopping experience ever and I am proud to be a VW owner! Thanks Guys and Superb Job!!! Dana R. More

I felt the staff went above and beyond in getting me the best deal possible, answering all my questions, and ensuring I got the car that was right for me. This was in spite of the fact that I came in at a very busy time of year. I will highly recommend this dealership in the future to anyone in the market for a new car. More
