I accomplished most of the negotiations over the phone with Bruce Phillips. This occurred over a week before I even made it to the dealership. After a slight hiccup with the insurance, everything was ready. They washed the vehicle very well, did not drill the license plate bracket, and Dave showed me some of the awesome features of the GTI. We couldn't be more pleased. In the past I have memories of a good experience going bad when you hit the Finance Department...so I was kind of prepared for that to happen again. On the contrary, again a very pleasant (and surprising) experience dealing with Steve Paulson the Finance Manager. There was no pressure when we declined certain coverages and I felt a real sense of truth when we were informed (not sold) about other protection packaged...Steve was able to articulate the real value in purchasing a certain package.
