The system plugs into the OBD port. I'm a service manager myself and an advisor should never give information out to a customer unless they know exactly what the answer is. Although he offered me to bring it back and he would have the mechanic hook the wire to the battery for me.. But all in All I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.. More
