Absolutely no complaints! I purchased a 2016 Passat SEL, I went in looking for a V6. The salesman I worked with sprinted the lot looking for available V6's and found two. After the test drive, I loved the car but when he asked about color I preferred they currently didn't have the V6 in black due to such high demand! As I was getting ready to leave,Brendan said hold on one second and pulled around in a black V4 and said to not underestimate the power in the new V4's, I reluctantly agreed to try out the 4 cylinder but the pick up was absolutely immaculate and even though I had my heart set on a V6 I left in the 4 Cylinder Passat and could not be happier. Brendan was professional, personable, and a work horse and Mike Haggerty Vokswagen should be the only VW dealer you should go to. More

The paperwork took a bit longer than hoped, but we are very happy with our new car and the entire purchase process at Haggerty. Even when no deal was reached, they were just as nice and patient and we returned Saturday comfortable with them and eventually reached a great deal. Their staff is accomodating, warm, and knowledgeable. Arshan made us feel very welcome and assisted us in every possible way. Rako was straight forward. Paul was able to translate the bottom line. Friendly but lacks attention to details My wife and I recently purchased a new 2015 Passat. We received a very good price, with the Labor Day weekend incentives, and had very friendly sales reps. But, when it came to picking up the car the next day, disappointment. We discovered the actual VW Scheduled Maintenance was 1 year, in spite of our salesman and another stating it was 2 years repeatedly the day before, and the car was not clean or had the Roadside Assistance Kit in the trunk, which was listed on the car’s window sticker. The inside of the front windshield was covered in white paint residue and a dirty film, which three people attempted to get clean to our satisfaction for over an hour. Then as we were ready to drive away, we noticed there were small white specks, like over-spray, stuck to all the top surfaces of the car, which they also attempted to remove most of them. It took over 2 ½ hours to get the paperwork done, the car mostly clean, and leave for a 5 hour drive home. We came to Chicago for a doctor’s appointment and spent the night, so we were anxious to hit the road and try to avoid rush hour, which we did not. The day after we got home I received a long, form-type, e-mail from our salesman requesting me to come back in to Haggerty and trade-in my 2015 Passat “because it will be at the peak of its trade-in value for pre-owned vehicles”. REALLY….this must be a joke! This dealer really needs to work on their attention to details and the overall customer experience. More

Ignoring previous reviews regarding poor service, over charging for pricey services that really only required a quick fix etc. I took my car in for an oil change and a tire got a phone call 3 days later that my bill was $1500!!! I was given a $550 tab for a maintenance check....that I NEVER asked for or requested. They say the work order has my signature except it had no prices next to it! I've been speaking back and forth with the service manager who basically came back with the we've been in business 25years and here's a $50off service coupon? If you admit no wrong doing after such a lengthy ( who are we kidding here) conversation with upper management or that 25years in business means that there isn't room for improvement you are sadly mistaken. Also why the $50 off? As of that compares to being charged $550 for something I NEVER ASKED FOR! If you must take your car here which I've earned you not to do, do not sign any documents without checking for erroneous charges and taking pictures of any paperwork given! More

I paid 136.23 dollars to Safeco, I then went to Haggerty and sat for 4 hours when I was then told the bank was questioning my income, but don't worry go home Paul said that he would call me at 10:00 am to come sign the papers and drive my SUV home that never happen he never called and wouldn't answer my calls. They used every trick in the "Sleazy Used Car Salesman" training manual. They do not respect the customer, and did not deal with me straight. Showed me a car with a broken side mirror, and then told me, "its cheap and easy to fix." THEN fix it before you show the car to the next sucker. Don't sit so smugly and look up the cost of a replacement mirror on you outdated Iphone to show me how cheap it is to buy a new one and tell me how easy it is to install myself. Don't start out at one price and then come down $4,000. If they had to last car around and offered it to me for free, I'd put on my hiking boots and start walking! More
