My first buying experience from them was great, so after I had kids and it was time to get a bigger car, I immediately ran back to Volkswagen of Murrieta. just to find out that they sold me a faulty car wit I had kids and it was time to get a bigger car, I immediately ran back to Volkswagen of Murrieta. just to find out that they sold me a faulty car with a potential to injure me or worse. Volkswagen is currently getting sued due to the faulty, autonomous emergency braking system. Volkswagen of Murrieta knew about this lawsuit, and continues to sell the affected vehicles every day, my car being one of them. They are a bunch of liars. I took my car back to their service department three times, (as was recommended by the salesperson Kaily Lewis) where I have their service advisor on a voicemail, admitting that he knows these cars are a problem, and that they have several cars in the shop with the same issue, but there is no fix. So I am left to keep driving a car that has the potential to make my car stop in error on busy streets or dangerous speeds. Do not buy from this dealership, they sell faulty vehicles and take 0 accountability for it. More

So I have bought 3 vehicles from VW over the past 5 years. I brought my 2020 VW Jetta into VW of Murrieta on July 7th to buy my car out of the lease. That process required a 3 hour inspection of the years. I brought my 2020 VW Jetta into VW of Murrieta on July 7th to buy my car out of the lease. That process required a 3 hour inspection of the car, fine. After the inspection I was offered $18,417 by Andre Phillip,their acquisition specialist. This was an unsolicited offer I must add. I decided to sell my car to them. I called three times and left messages. I emailed both Andre and him manager. I called again today and Andre said the manager on the offer card was no longer there. He said he was the one who gave me the offer. He scheduled July 9th to take my car and pay me their offer of $18,417. An hour later he calls to say they gave me that offer based on the car having 8000 miles? What the xxxx? How dishonest is that! The car has had all its maintenance done there and even that morning the car was logged in with 26,013 miles. He claimed he saw some entry that day at 8000 miles but he couldn't even tell me what or where he saw it? Very sketchy and disingenuous person. I will no longer even buy a VW let alone go back to VW of Murrieta. More
