Two different employees assured me I would not be responsible for paying sales tax in CA and CO. Bought the car and drove it back to CO where I was promptly told I was responsible for paying sales tax AGAIN. Called the online sales manger to rectify - no response. Called the General Manager for the store - no response. This place has no integrity, I highly recommend buying or leasing or servicing somewhere else. More

Scammed into a credit check with lies I went in to the dealership and was helped. I did a test drive and after a few rounds of negotiation settled on a buy price. When I came in I was told to relinquish my social security number. I was required by law to provjide it since the value of the car was over $10k. What I didn't know is that their sales manager had gotten me to sign a credit check form. Shame on me for believing his lies, but I did expressly say multiple times I did NOT want or authorize a credit check. Now I've walked on a perfectly good car deal because I don't deal with liars. 2016 Passat gets 20 mpg. They ripped me off! Bought car 5/5/16. Noticed I'm filling tank far too often. Calculated fuel used ÷ mileage and came up with 19 mpg, 22 mpg and 20 mpg combined mpg on 3 Bought car 5/5/16. Noticed I'm filling tank far too often. Calculated fuel used ÷ mileage and came up with 19 mpg, 22 mpg and 20 mpg combined mpg on 3 tanks of gas! Car is supposed to get 29 mpg combined. It's not even close. I took it in twice to two VW dealerships (kearny mesa and city) both lied and told me car is getting 26 mpg and 27 mpg. It is not!!!! Management told me there's nothing they can do so I'm now working with the DA and a lemon law attorney. It's unbelievable a Passat gets gas mileage worse than just about any car on the market. I do not appreciate this extremely unprofessional response. VW is still trying to resolve the TDI problem and now a car that guzzles gas!!!! I strongly advice no one buy a Volkswagen! More

Great Full Service Dealership I had a check engine light on and scheduled an appointment. I dropped my 2015 GTI off at the over night drop and received a call in the morning. I was in the area that afternoon and stopped by. My car had a vacuum leak in the fuel system. They were unable to complete the repairs at the time I arrived to pick up my car, so they immediately gave me a 2016 loaner Passat. The following morning, repairs complete! I would have to say the service staff kept me well informed as well as a positive atmosphere in their department. Steve and the other service writers are always ready to jump in and help. On another note, about 3 hours after taking my car back from them, Steve Harveston gave me a call to see if everything was good with my car. I feel that this is well above the highest standard for customer service and gives the customer a peace of mind. More
