You can start by getting a more professional staff. There is absolutely no reason a car dropped off at 9:30am Wednesday morning, gets not status update until 5:00pm Saturday evening. And that's after calling the service department half a dozen times, being told to wait and hold on a dozen times, and being given the run around until I have to threaten legal action. Ive been going to this place since the shop in El Cajon got shut down, guess why they got shut down? Because the manager there was embezzling the money the company gave him to remodel the place. That along with the whole diesel scandel paints a pretty clear picture of the Volkswagen culture. You guys just can't do the right thing. You can explain how your ONE SINGLE CAR dealership, has 5 times the amount of maintenance as the one next to you. That one sells 5 different car brands, the law of averages dictates that they should be performing far more maintenance. Not only because they sell more vehicles, but because the ones they sell are notoriously unreliable. Yet Kearny Mesa Volkswagen is doing so much maintenance that they have to contract out to the Enterprise rental car company..... And all this maintenance is happening after the ENTIRE WORLD, is coming out of COVID-19 lock down.... NO SIR, ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm a 10yr military veteran and I absolutely know, that you can let a car sit for over a solid year, without starting it a single time, and as long as you unhooked the battery prior to letting it set, it will start up with ZERO ISSUES. So the fact that you guys have more maintenance than the CARMAX up the street absolutely screams fraud. Then you can try to explain how your techs said they performed a pressure check on my cars coolant system, after they did a hose replacement, and everything was fine. Yet when I brought the car back the next week, they said that I had a clogged heater core.... If the heater core was clogged, how did the pressure check pass??? The heater core is part of the coolant system, and it would have caused the check to fail. But then the techs said I needed to give them $1000 to replace the heater core, that they originally said was good to go. Now my car is back in your little shop of horrors and they are saying, even if we fix the new problem, that they admit they caused, I will still need to give them $1000 bucks for the heater core.... Keep in mind, I have them on record saying that the coolant system passed a pressure test and was operating as designed... Your techs are lazy xxx liars and I have them on paper lying. Your managers are lazy and can't keep up with the workload, and this was the case before the sketchy uptick in maintenance. I have every intention of suing you guys for fraud. The whole operation reeks of a maintenance racket.
