Smooth transaction and they go above and beyond Went with a friend to help her purchase a car. I've bought a lot of vehicles for myself and have a lot of experience with shopping. I have to say that Went with a friend to help her purchase a car. I've bought a lot of vehicles for myself and have a lot of experience with shopping. I have to say that this one of the smoothest transactions I've ever seen. Everyone was really friendly, particularly Allen, Shaun, and Bob. They helped us expedite the process and gave us an awesome deal. Couldn't be happier. More

He really cares about what he does and it shows through in his interactions. My salesman, Allan Rosenberg, is friendly, professional, well-informed and attentive. Eddie Martinez in the finance department is a pleasure to work with. In the service department, Anthony Piccolo is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My only complaint is that the dealership only offers styrofoam cups for the free coffee instead of paper, an eco-friendly, readily available biodegradable alternative to styrofoam. But seriously, I 100% recommend this dealership to anyone-you won't regret it! More

They called me and I went to see Shawn Baron who is the sales manager. He gave me a copy of the check issued to the bank for the first month’s payment, including the late fee. He apologized for his behavior of the previous week and I accepted his apology. I am very happy with my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen TDI and am also happy that Volkswagen of Huntington has taken the appropriate steps to restore their relationship with me. Thank you, Shaun, John and Jose for resolving this matter. More
VW of Huntington doesn't honor their Salesman's promises Traded in my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen, at the dealer that sold me the car new in 2011. I bought this car at top dollar and it cost me Approx $500 a mo Traded in my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen, at the dealer that sold me the car new in 2011. I bought this car at top dollar and it cost me Approx $500 a month on the car loan, warranty included, no tire warranty. The 2012 VW was sold to me by John Jaramillo before he became the Dealership manager. In December 2014 I went to VW of Huntington again and traded in my 2012 and asked the dealer for an older model in order to reduce my payment. I started off with one salesman, Jose Serverio and it was obvious he was unable to “sell” me. He called in the Dealer manager, John Jaramillo, who had sold me my 2012 VW. He gave me the smarmy salesman pitch about how he wanted to keep me as a loyal customer, etc. AT first glance it looked like a good deal. He made me an offer of a leftover 2014 with only $500 down and a car loan that was 2% lower than my previous loan. My loan was reduced approximately $80 a month. I later wound up paying $3,800 upfront for the 7 year extended warranty and tire warranty. He conveniently left out the fact that it was not included in the original deal, and I didn’t ask, so that was the reason for the lower monthly payment. I was told by the salesman, Jose Severio, that the first month's payment was going to be made by VW and that MY first payment was due in FEB 2015. In January, I received my first loan installment notice and I called Jose Serverio to confirm that the January payment would be made. He assured me that the payment would go out by . The first week in February I received an arrears notification from the bank, and a phone call from the bank, stating that my new loan was in arrears for the January payment and that if not paid it would be reported to the credit bureau as 30 days late. I immediately went to VW to speak to Jose Severio and straighten it out. He looked at my account and then got a deer in the headlights look on his face. He then brought in the head salesman, Shwan Baron, who asked me to explain the circumstances again, and told me I had a loan, not a lease and there was no way that VW would pay the first month's installment even though Jose Serverio was present at the table when I explained the circumstances. The dealership manager, John Jaramillo, who actually closed the deal because he salesman was not able to negotiate it, was on vacation. I left the dealership. I called VW Corporate Offices and put in a formal complaint. They inform me that after speaking to the dealership manager, who was now back from vacation, they cannot force him to make the payment as I have a loan not a lease. VW is saying that I now have to pay the first month as I have a loan, not a lease. The VW salesman made the mistake, and I am being forced to pay for it even though I had not budgeted for this. I spoke personally to the dealership manager and he claims he has not yet spoken to his salesman and that he cannot pay it because it is a loan and not a lease and that's not his responsibility, even though his Salesman made the error, I have to pay. The amount in question is $418! VW has put me through a month of aggravation even though it was their salesman's error. They have been abrupt with me and keep touting the corporate line that you have a loan, not a lease. Mr. Jaramillo no longer wishes to keep me a satisfied VW customer now that the deal is done. Did I mention that my 2012 car was already sold? I'm sure they made out on that deal as well. Having to come up with another $418 dollars this month is a bigger hardship for me than it is for VW. This is not the first time VW has taken advantage of me. I bought a 1975 VW Bettle brand new from the showroom and it stalled on me the on the drive home the day I bought it. It was towed 6 times while until the then 3 month warranty and VW would not make good on the car. The offered me 2/3 of purchase price after I owned the car for 1 week. I swore I would never buy another VW and kept to my word until 2011. The Jetta Sportwagen TDI had all the features I required and no other car came close. I regret having dealt with VW again. They have once again shown that the customer always comes last at VW. Their salesmen are not to be trusted. More
Everything is good until AFTER you buy your car Let me preface by saying that I am totally satisfied with my purchase, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI, and the way I was treated at the time of purchase Let me preface by saying that I am totally satisfied with my purchase, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI, and the way I was treated at the time of purchase. The dealership is very transparent in how they negotiate, and they will give you a fair price on the car. When it comes to buying a new or used car, I highly recommend this dealership and the salesperson, Mr. Eliezer Polcano. My complaint is the way I was treated AFTER my purchase. The vehicle did not include an owner's manual, something that is essential given the large amounts of features that are included with the car. I emailed my Mr. Polcano, who replied and stated he would order a book from Volkswagen and ship it to my house. This was sometime in late Sep/early Oct. I got nothing. I followed up once with an email and got no response. When I went recently to get a recall update, I inquired about the owner's manual again. The serviceman looked it up in the computer and confirmed that they ordered it, but sent it back because nobody picked it up! I was never notified or called that it had even arrived and it was "sent back?" He said they would reorder it and it would be in the following Tuesday. I confirmed that my phone number was correct. I had to go out of town for a week, so when I came back, I expected a message on my answering machine. All I got was a woman calling to ask if my service experience was satisfactory. Nothing about my owner's manual. I phoned again today and a serviceman took down my information and said he would "call me back." Never called back. This is not how I would expect to be treated after dropping $30,000 into a car, especially considering that there is the potential for repeat business with servicing going forward. I don't like writing bad reviews about businesses, but after being ignored TWICE in what should be a simple, straightforward thing, I am left with no other choice. More

We let them know upfront that the decision would not be made that day, however it would happen within the month. Allen Rosenberg treated us like family. They offered us a great price straight from the beginning with no games. I checked another reputable dealership and the price was not even close. We went back 3 weeks later, accepted an offer and took a Tiguan home that day. Our experience is nothing but positive so far. More
OUTSTANDING!! Id give this dealership 100 stars if I could!! I went to this dealership on Wednesday October 22nd and spoke with a sales associate named Allen, with a letter about trading in my vehicle, how ever w I went to this dealership on Wednesday October 22nd and spoke with a sales associate named Allen, with a letter about trading in my vehicle, how ever with some issues that my vehicle has, they weren't able to do so, but told us that they will see if/what they can get us into. So I wasn't expecting to hear anything back from them because thats usually what car dealerships do, they take your info and leave you waiting for days to find out wether you were approved or not, and never call back or return calls BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE FOR THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I received a very unexpected call back on the 25th saying that we were approved for a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta ! I was SO excited, but i tried to remain calm just incase coming monday ( the day of my appointment ) they're was going to be bad news. NOPE!! Nothing but GOOD NEWS ,SMILES & other customers of theres congratulating us. Allen our salesman was always trying to make us laugh, engaging in conversation and just a beautiful man to work with. I myself am a supervisor in retail and I know how customers are supposed to be treated, they treat their customers with so much love and care. We arrived around 12:30 , filled out paper work, handed in our low down payment and was on our way very promptly in our brand new volkswagen jetta se!!! When we was driving off there was another customer of vw of huntington, she came up to our new car and threw change in the back seat and told us in chinese tradition, throwing coins into the car signifies good luck. we love our car , the sunroof, the smell EVERYTHING! Thank you Allen & Ed for making this possible. I NEVER write reviews on car dealerships because they're usually all the same, But Volkswagen of Huntington you guys are all AWESOME! Cant thank you guys enough! More
