I purchased a diesel VW beetle from Thomas when he was at the Orange VW location. He was excellent to work with. Honest and very clear in his communications and actions. He worked with me on the recall process and the purchase of my next VW - a Golf Sportwagen. The recall process was a little scary for all of us since it had never been done before. But Thomas guided me through the process and made it as painless as possible. I lost track of him after the Orange dealership closed. But now that I see he is at the Garden Grove location, that will be my new dealership of choice. More

Who is running this xxxxxx business? I'm gonna send formal complaint letter to VW of America headquarter. More

Awful customer service with the service center Never take your car here! I brought my car to get the engine light diagnosed. When I went to pick up the car, they had damaged it (it was hit on the b Never take your car here! I brought my car to get the engine light diagnosed. When I went to pick up the car, they had damaged it (it was hit on the back left, see picture). They denied doing any damage. I had them look at video footage and they realized there was NO damage to the car when I dropped it off originally. They agreed to fix it for me. However, when I went to pick up the car again, there was MORE damage and they hadn't fixed the entire car! They only fixed part of it (the black plastic part was still broken!). It took a ton of haggling back and forth to get them to agree to fix the rest of it. I had to wait at the dealership for 3 hours. Additionally, their staff was rude and insulting to me and accused me of only taking my car to them to get diagnosed for free and then having pep boys work on it. This is completely untrue! They had sent me a coupon for a free diagnosis. After it was diagnosed, I decided to sell the car instead of getting it fixed. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this dealership for oil changes, engine diagnosis, and air bag repairs. They accused me of not being a "regular customer". Even if it was the first time I was going there, if you damage someone's car, you should fix it immediately and not insult the customer. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I would NEVER go here again! The guys that work in the service center are rude and disrespectful. They also put down other service centers (ie: pep boys and jiffy lube) and say that other service centers are incompetent and don't know what they're doing. The guys that work here are egotistical and arrogant and think they know everything. Clearly they don't know how to give good customer service. More

Nathan is amazing! I went in for regular maintenance on my car and Nathan (who sold me my car originally) noticed that I drive a ridiculous amount of miles to and from w I went in for regular maintenance on my car and Nathan (who sold me my car originally) noticed that I drive a ridiculous amount of miles to and from work everyday & because of this, my two year old car already had 50k miles on it! Nathan ended up getting me a great deal that allowed me to trade in my car for a brand new, upgraded version with a lease deal that totally fits my needs and makes more sense considering my driving habits. Nathan is very thoughtful and really looks out for the customer's best interest. If buying a car from here, always ask for Nathan! I always leave happy and confident in my buying decision after working with him. :) More

Not very honest. Took my VW to this dealer to check out an electrical problem that prevented me from driving the car. When I called to find out what was wrong they stated it needed a new battery. Problem was that they didn't tell me until after they had installed the new one that the old battery was still serviceable and that I could have driven my car to my regular mechanic so to get a second opinion. They charged me over $200 for a battery with a very limited warranty. I could have purchase the same quality of part for half the price with warranty that was longer with no exclusions. So because of their lack of disclosure prior to starting the work I overpaid for an inferior product. More

I have serviced 4 different cars and the experience was always 5 stars. My great uncle had his favorite GM dealer/service in Anaheim he bought and serviced all of his cars. Loyal to one place. They knew him very well and not only he always got a great service but they were also personable, kind and the whole relationship was based on mutual trust and respect. I though, well, that's not something you these days. That was back in 2000. 15 years later, being a huge VW dub head myself I needed a place to service my car. After trying many options in OC I have no pleasure discussing here, I found VW of Garden Grove Service. Not only my cars get good service, but it's on time and there is no nonsense games other services like to play with customers. If they can fix it, they'll do it. If they can't they'll tell you. Period. Every service advisor I worked with over there exceeded my expectations. Developing a personal relationship with your service not only makes your life easier but also helps the service figure out what you did to car. Read my other review, because I also bought a car from them and I love it. I hope you find this review useful. I rely heavily on online search and online reviews myself. The bottom line: if you like your VW, service it in VW of Garden Grove, and "don't drive like my brother!" More
