Vehicle Damaged and Not Fixed Properly I dropped my vehicle off for misfiring. Three days later they said it was ready for pickup after they replaced the coils and did some warranty work ($ I dropped my vehicle off for misfiring. Three days later they said it was ready for pickup after they replaced the coils and did some warranty work ($100 deductible). When I arrived I discovered my vehicle was damaged and had to be sent to the body shop and I was put in my second rental vehicle (at their expense). Two weeks later the same issue occurred, I took the vehicle back and was given a different diagnosis - needed new spark plugs ($200). The following morning they called and said it was an issue with carbon buildup and quoted me another $900. I picked up my vehicle and dropped it off for a second opinion at a different dealership. Was dissatisfied that VW Gainesville gave me a different diagnosis 3 different times (isn't that what the diag fee is for??) and that my vehicle was damaged. Although they attempted to make it right, I felt like they were just guessing as far as problems and each time I kept getting higher quotes with no guarantee of solving the problem. The staff is nice and friendly, but ultimately I was very dissatisfied with the quality of work. More
