Purchase experience was good but vehicle quality control is lacking. Had to spend over $1,000 to replace front & rear brake pads and the rear rotors less than a week after purchasing the vehicle. Also had to replace the brake fluid as that notification was active once I learned how to use the system. VW of Gainesville should have replaced the front & rear brake pads and replaced the brake fluid prior to selling. Manager, Bree, contacted me saying she would look into it and get back with me but 3 weeks later, no response. Once deal is done, they don't care! More
Had engine replaced in October and the dealer kept my car for a month. Car continued to have issues with EPC and Check engine light but advisor Edwin suggested the could diagnose anything if there were no li for a month. After riding 15000 miles over the 12000 warranty on the new engine the dealer claimed I need three fuel injectors and that my warranty expired and the staff has been EXTREMELY rude and laughed at the fact I couldn’t afford the 3500 repair. I do not recommend VW or this auto shop. Extremely rude and they don’t actually fix anything. If you’re a woman BEWARE. More
