By far the worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with I bought my used car from Cooks back in August of 2018. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Malibu with approximately 64,000. From the day I took possession it h I bought my used car from Cooks back in August of 2018. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Malibu with approximately 64,000. From the day I took possession it has been a headache with no help what so ever from Cooks. Two of the four tires had leaks in them which took them twice to fix. I also told them the brakes were squealing and started to grind. The first time I took it they said nothing was wrong with the brakes. On my way home the breaks continued to make those noises. When I got home I looked through my paperwork and contract to see about the extended warranty I was told I had to purchase. The purchase price for the car was $8977. When I was going through the contract the purchase price shown was $13,500. I questioned this and was told because my credit wasn’t good the bank put a fee on the purchase price yet the blue book value was $9700. I’ve purchased over a dozen new cars over the years but never had such deceitful practices in the contract. Now back to the issues. I again took the car in for the same brake issue and again was told they were fine. I also told them that the gas mileage I was getting was horrible. I was getting 19 highway and 16 city which was averaging about 18 mpg total for a 4 cylinder they said that’s typical for the age and mileage on the car(?). I also told them about heavy fumes seeping into the cabin of the car for the first few minutes it was started which was and still is nauseating but again nothing done. I had the car back again for the third time in roughly 45 days for the breaks. I was told they used cheap break pads which are known for making noises and that I could upgrade for an additional fee (parts and labor) which in my book is unacceptable since I have had an issue since I bought it. Over the next several months I called and left several messages and got no response and the times they did take my call they said give them a few days and they would get back to me with some answers which I still have not received a call back. The sales team, general manager and finance manager are the shadiest salespeople I have ever encountered in all my years of buying cars. I waited to post this to see if they actually cared and would return my calls which unfortunately they have not. Please buyer beware when dealing with this dealership. More

Thank goodness I made the drive I wasn’t going to go here because of the distance from my house (I live in PA) but I am so happy I did. It was extremely busy and I thought it was goi I wasn’t going to go here because of the distance from my house (I live in PA) but I am so happy I did. It was extremely busy and I thought it was going to be a dreadful process like any other dealer but as soon as Dalton came over to help it was fast, painless, and actually pretty fun! His personality is such a delight and totally eased up some pressure and stress when it comes to the normal car buying process. He was very knowledgeable and helpful while still being fun and inviting as if we were friends and not just customers. What was nice is he found out how far we had come and offered a dollar for every mile we drove and it was totally worth it! I got the car I wanted with a great experience and it’s all thanks to how comfortable Dalton made the process!! If I should happen to need another car soon (hopefully not!) I will be returning here!! But for now, I will be recommending this dealer to all my friends and hopefully they all get to work with Dalton. More

We test drove a used car on a Friday and were told it wasn't ready for delivery, as it needed a few parts to complete MD inspection. We asked salesperson Mike Hamilton to contact us as soon as it was ready, in preparation for buying it. He never contacted us, and after a week of us calling the sales dept and no one returning our calls, FINALLY got the sales manager, who said the car had been sold the night before. This was SIX DAYS after we'd said we were interested in buying it when the work/inspection were complete. They do not care about potential clients and have the laziest/worst work ethic I've ever seen at a car dealership. I wouldn't 'buy' a free bicycle from these people. More

Cheated me and LIED 11 months ago I went in to look at a vehicle that I had been researching so this dealer calls me and tells me they have exactly what I was looking for 11 months ago I went in to look at a vehicle that I had been researching so this dealer calls me and tells me they have exactly what I was looking for on the newer explorers, I should have known better being a Cook dealership, we have called them "Crook Motors" for years. Anyhow, I went to look at this vehicle and it was nothing what I was looking for but they did have a couple Cadillac SRX 4 cars which I've always liked, so I drove one I liked it, I bought it.... I had worked a 12-hour shift and it was getting very late, I didn't even get out of there till after 11 at night.so I didn't pay too much attention to the paperwork I signed it went home came back the next day for some more paperwork and told them to take off all those stupid warranties, it was over $3,000, and they said no problem since you've already been approved from the loan from GM Financial we'll just send the money back to them to go towards the principal amount. Well I had no problem with that but lo and behold 11 months later they still never sent the money to GM Financial so they lied to me about taking off all those warranties which if I known they didn't I could have used one because the motor has issues but now they tell me all your past in mileage on the warranties so you get nothing back and we're not sending nothing to GM Financial all because they did not refunded 11 months ago like they were supposed to. My fault I should have made him sign documentation so this was a very expensive lesson but I'm telling you never trust them people never buy nothing from them!!! More
