I recently purchased a 2016 passat from the dealership and I have never received such amazing service. They even delivered the car to my door, in a different state! All the dealers were so kind and helpful with everything, along with being extremely efficient. Very trustworthy people. I dealt with David for majority of conversations and he is definitely the best of the best! He truly understands great customer service and is such a genuine, hard working person. More
Worth the 100+ Mile Drive to Buy My New GTI I was unable to find a GTI in the right trim level, with a manual transmission, and in an acceptable color locally so started looking within what I fe I was unable to find a GTI in the right trim level, with a manual transmission, and in an acceptable color locally so started looking within what I felt was a reasonable driving distance (100 miles or so). After sending pictures of my trade-in and communicating via email and phone over the course of a few days, I ended up agreeing to what I felt was a very good "out the door" price (i.e. bottom line, including taxes, etc, and allowing for my trade-in) with Volkswagen of Clarksville (David). We then set a time for me to drop off the trade-in and pick up the new GTI. I'll admit that I expected there to be some attempt by the dealership to squeeze more money out of me (e.g. my trade-in looked better in the pictures and they overestimated its value, some fee that they understood to not belong in the "out the door" price, pressure to add some option, etc.) but there was none of that. I test drove the new car, they checked out my trade-in, we went through paperwork, I wrote a check, and it was done. Over the course of all that, they also went over the GTI with me, including explaining a lot of the new technology (touch-screen controls, Apple Play, steering wheel controls, etc.) features of the car. Obviously I would have preferred to have a similar experience with a dealership closer to home but, since local wasn't working, I'm glad I found Volkswagen of Clarksville. They treated me well and made my 100+ mile trip worth it. More
Nice people but typical car buying experience While all the people at the dealer were nice, it doesn't change that fact that they use the same tactics as every other car dealer. First, they make u While all the people at the dealer were nice, it doesn't change that fact that they use the same tactics as every other car dealer. First, they make up some reason why they can’t honor their online price (in this case it was because I wasn't trading in a VW), then they make up reasons why they won’t honor their online specials, in this case it was a "$500 college credit" where even though I am a college graduate as of two years ago and my wife is currently in college they said that you had to be a "recent" graduate. Ok, that is to be expected, most car dealers do the same stuff. Then they follow the typical car dealer trend and start out with a really high price on the car and a really low offer for the trade in (well below the lowest value on KBB or nada). Eventually after telling them I know what my car is worth and I know what their car is worth and telling them the maximum I would be willing to pay, they of course came back with a number ever so slightly higher than my maximum (all dealers seem to do this too). We eventually struck a deal $4,500 less than their original offer but still 1000-2000 higher than what I should have paid. Then to top everything off they come out with some story like they won’t be making any money on the car and how other customers weren't getting as good of a deal as we were (blah blah blah). It really irritates me being blatantly lied to regardless of if it’s the norm or not. The entire process also took about 4-5 hours, which gets very tiring. Bottom line is no matter how nice they seem, they still try to rip you off just like any other dealer end of story. More

Exceptional purchasing experience I've owned a number of Volkswagen vehicles and have found them to be consistent vehicles of good quality. My biggest complaint about VW has historical I've owned a number of Volkswagen vehicles and have found them to be consistent vehicles of good quality. My biggest complaint about VW has historically been the poor buying experience at dealerships in the Louisville area. Yesterday was different. I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness and integrity of my buying experience at VW Clarksville yesterday. As an informed buyer, I had provided all three local dealers the same information on what I was looking for. Jason Givens at VW found me exactly what I was looking for within 24 hours. It required shipping from another dealer and he handled all of the details. Meanwhile, neither of the other two Louisville dealers could even locate the make and model I wanted (a fairly typical VW vehicle). Both of the other dealers didn't LISTEN TO ME. Instead they tried to sell me a make and model I didn't want. I felt as though the other Louisville dealers really didn't want my business. The purchasing experience at VW Clarksville was perfect. Steven the sales rep got me in and out quickly. Jabin the finance manager did the same -- respecting my time. VW Clarksville was the 3rd dealer I visited after having bad experiences at the other two. Next time, I will go to VW Clarksville first. To my Louisville friends who've historically had not so good sales experiences at the Louisville VW dealerships, I suggest you give Clarksville a chance to win your business. More

Suprisingly pleased by outcome. Even thou I didn't purchase a Volkswagen, I was looking to replace my Grand Cherokee soon because of many upcoming repairs on a 1999 with 242,700 mile Even thou I didn't purchase a Volkswagen, I was looking to replace my Grand Cherokee soon because of many upcoming repairs on a 1999 with 242,700 miles on it. I was greeted by Heath Kidder who showed the used car lot to me and my friend. He was very friendly, helpful and informative showing the car features and we took a test drive. Tony Fawler was very friendly with a great personalities. I was impressed with him. When I returned to have an additional key made they were more then helpful finding someone to come and handle that for me. Also, when I came back to have my car checked for the noise I was hearing under the hood with Keith Meredith handling my shuttle ride with Wayne, very nice guy. They fixed the problem even found another noise and took it for a test drive to make sure all is well. I would highly recommend anyone this location. Makes me want to come back just to say Hi! Great bunch of guys! More
Everyone was friendly, Bob Miller was a fantastic salesmen and the finance/management was easy to deal with. It was not your normal experience of buying a car. It was so no hassle, Ill never visit salesmen and the finance/management was easy to deal with. It was not your normal experience of buying a car.
