I brought my Tiguan in to VW of Clarksville Service Center for its routine 40k mile maintenance. I also asked them to look into a low tire pressure light that would come on periodically that I suspecte Center for its routine 40k mile maintenance. I also asked them to look into a low tire pressure light that would come on periodically that I suspected was a slow leak in my tire. I spent over $800 on the "recommended" maintenance, and that did not even include everything they told me my car needed, as I declined a couple additional services since it was already so expensive. They also told me they did not find anything wrong with my tire. However, my low tire pressure light was still an issue, so I later took my car to a different VW dealership who found a nail in my tire that was causing the leak. I find it hard to believe the service center at VW of Clarksville would miss a nail in my tire had they inspected my tire. In addition, I had mentioned the $800 in maintenance to the other VW dealership and they informed me that half of the services VW of Clarksville told me was "recommended" did not even need to be done at that time. For example, VW of Clarksville told me I needed new spark plugs at 40k miles, but according to the actual recommended maintenance for my vehicle, my spark plugs would have been good until 80k miles. I paid over $300 for new spark plugs at VW of Clarksville because they told me it was required maintenance, just to find out it was not even necessary. I am glad I passed on the other additional services recommended to me by VW of Clarksville, as those were also not necessary I later came to find out. Overall, I feel very misled and taken advantage of by the VW of Clarksville Service Center and will not be taking my vehicle there for future service needs. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 was because they were very accommodating with scheduling a time for me to bring my car in for service, and they had a quick turnaround time. After buying a used 2022 Taos SE, I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. It was smoked in (they did not disclose this to me) which left a strong odor, which they had to treat twice and still was problems with this vehicle. Only a week or so later it was leaking oil! I was given a loaner vehicle and tried to buy that instead and wasn't allowed. I just recently moved and had a check engine light and brake issues looked at another VW dealership and was told to take it back to where I bought it to fix the check engine light issue because hoses had been taped, brackets were missing, and the secondary pump was broken! I will contact them again to see if they will fix this, but I WILL NEVER buy a car or tell anyone to go to this dealership again! More

Don't buy used or you'll get screwed! The car I bought was even serviced by them, it's on the Carfax, yet when they "inspected" it, they missed the oil leaking from oil cooler, rear main seal, valve covers, & coolant that's all over everything from where it's leaking?!?! Make that make sense. You expect this stuff from buy here pay here, NOT from dealership that makes most of it's commission on new cars & thinks it's ok to lie & deceive consumers as long as they get it sold. Karma is going to a field day!!! They think that "as is" justifies knowingly selling a xxx & lying about needed repairs. Don't say I didn't warn you when you buy used & find out shortly thereafter that it needs repairs that'll total up to more than the cost to purchase it!!! More

Let me share what volkswagen of clarksville did to me! So my mom finds a nice 15' kia optima online. We go test drive it and buy it. My mom locked the price in and I didn't know that she locked in a price. I paid $500 more than it was listed for. After driving it for 2 days the car starts to die on me while driving. So I have it towed there and they said they would pay for the bill. They had it for almost a week and kept swearing it was in perfect condition and it must have just been a fluke. They never even bothered to call one time by the way. I'd call for an update every day and they would say that they would call me back and just didn't. So after all this time with no car and no communication i get upset and said there is obviously something wrong with that car and if they won't fix it I guess I'll have to take it somewhere else to get it looked at. After I said that they threatened to stick me with the tow bill. So a friend went up there with me and was asking basic questions about what can be done such as a refund or a trade in. The sales manager Kevin stuck his finger in her face and yelled at her telling her its not her car so she doesn't need to even speak! I told him that was unacceptable and he can't talk to people that way. So he yells at me and tells that the car is perfect and tells me he's not giving me my money back, he's not trading it out and to take my keys and leave. He then throws the key in my lap and tells me to get out. So I take the car next door to kia and try to get an appraisal. Guess what? The car dies on the sales associate 3 times before he even got to the stop light. He came back in with the hazard lights on and told me he can't take that car. So we go right back with this on paper stating the car is clearly a xxx and it keeps dying. So they still refused to give me my money back. So they said we will trade it in but we only have 3 cars for you to choose from. We'll guess what?! They are all xxx cars. One jeep with over 200k miles on it. Completely filthy. The other was a prius that had trouble starting. Lastly there was a mazda that was in better shape than the others. So my choice was to take the kia that keeps dying on me or choose one of the other xxxxty cars. So I chose the unxxxxtiest of the cars. The Mazda drives but makes some strange puttering noises. The tires are WAY TOO big for the car and they are pushing up against the frame. So the tires and rims all have to be replaced, the brakes need to be done and a belt has to be replaced. My friends husband looked at it and told me those are the 3 things that need to be done before I can drive it. So basically I have to put another grand or more I to that car when at the end up the day I paid 14k for it already. So now owe my parents 5k and still have no car to drive. I'm just praying that I can trade it in for something reliable without having to finance anything. Otherwise I will have two car payments. One to my parents and one to a dealership. Something good has got to come from this crapshow. But if your ever considering where to get a car from, DONT BUY FROM VOLKSWAGEN OF CLARKSVILLE! I will say that Kaylee and Steven tried extremely hard to lavage this absolutely horrible situation. Unfortunately they are very limited as they are only sales associates and not in management but their dealership left a single mother with no car to drive and not a dollar to her name after spending 13k on a car.
