He relayed this to his sales manager Gilbert or Steve who proceeds to tell me if I don't allow them to run my credit I can go purchase the car somewhere else.I ask if he was refusing to sell a base on this; he said,"yes." he talked with his Gen Mgr who told him that was fine but I would not be allowed to take the car until my Federal Crédit Union check cleared. When I looked at the final total, they showed me a price for taxes, fees, and licenses at the bottom an additional $2000 tact on for a final total for financing.I ask, " why am I paying you interest if I'm not financing with you?" Response," It's pre paid interest on a cash sell." Is that even legal??? Needless to say, I left. I don't feel it's right for me to pay them interest on my loan and my credit union to. Not happy with feeling as if I'm being taken advantage of because I'm female. More

Best Experience Ever I visited South Coast Volkswagen yesterday, thinking I would just check out the new Tiguan's to see what they're all about. I have been interested in I visited South Coast Volkswagen yesterday, thinking I would just check out the new Tiguan's to see what they're all about. I have been interested in leasing a new car (for the first time ever), but I've been hesitant because of the cost and the fact that I am a recent college graduate. Geoff White met me in the parking lot and immediately began to show me around the 2017 Tiguan and answer all my questions. After a test drive, I was even more interested in this car and I thought I was just looking! Geoff was so understanding of my limitations and concerns with the costs of leasing and did everything he (and his manager) could do to make a deal that I was comfortable with, in the car that I wanted. At no point did I feel pressured or ignored, which is the stereotypical dealership experience everyone warns you about. Also, I brought in my old car as a trade-in and I feel that they were very fair with the trade-in offer. Badda-bing, bad-boom, I'm driving a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg and I couldn't be more excited about it! Geoff, you set the bar SO high for my first car buying experience at a dealership - I am so lucky. Never Have I Ever I came into the car dealership set and determined to look at the 2017 Tiguan. My mother and I strolled around the dealership comfortably without havin I came into the car dealership set and determined to look at the 2017 Tiguan. My mother and I strolled around the dealership comfortably without having hundreds of car salesman barging into your bubble the moment you set foot in the dealership. I got the chance to peacefully look at the Tiguan and fell in love. As we left the dealership Aaron Cespedes kindly approached us if we needed assistance. That time we went only to see the cars, he understood and gave us his business card in case we had any questions. About a month later, I was ready to buy a new car and contacted Aaron if he would be available to assist me. He quickly responded and started the process. Aaron made this whole experience stress free and had the best intentions. Something I liked that he mentioned was he likes the idea of knowing that he has helped someone for the better not for the worse. And that's definitely what he did. I can't thank him enough for his help along with other team members in making my second car buying experience 110% better than the first.
