In searching for a car, I had almost impossible parameters. Meaning that I was looking for a newer used car low miles and low price. Plus I have a thing for VW's and I couldn't lease because of whe parameters. Meaning that I was looking for a newer used car low miles and low price. Stephanie went through all my options as far as buying a used car and although the car for me was not available on the lot, she called and emailed me numerous times regarding cars she found on the lot(s) until she found the right one. She was not pushy to make me buy a car I did not want. I felt very relaxed with the whole staff at Prime. The car that she found had low miles and the price was right for the year. One thing I didnt like about it was the cosmetic flaws on the exterior. Rich and Stephanie both had all the issues that I thought needed to be fixed. After all was said and done, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a car dealer. I would definitely tell anyone to go to Prime for their next vehicle. Prime Volkswagen has been servicing my 2001 Jetta VR6 since I purchased it used several years ago. I decided to go to Prime Volkswagen because of there convenient hours, location, and the recommendation since I purchased it used several years ago. I decided to go to Prime Volkswagen because of there convenient hours, location, and the recommendation from others who have dealt with them. Since purchasing my VW it has unfortunately had to be in the shop on numerous occasions for many different repairs, which is not necessarily a good thing but I have always found the dealer to be honest and upfront regarding the work needed and the cost associated with the repairs. I have never encounter a situation at this dealer were the needed repairs and cost did not match the final outcome. Which had been my experience during prior years having service done on a different vehicle of mine at several local garages, were I would show up to pick up my car expecting to pay one thing and end up paying a lot more. I have rated all areas on the review form a 5 for Prime Volkswagen expect for the overall experience section which I gave a 4, because of an experience I encountered when I first started using Prime Volkswagen. I have now been deal with one employee in the service department for sometime now who has without a doubt put any bad experience to rest. Jessica Therriault has been assisting me with all the repair work for my Jetta for over a year now and has always presented herself and the dealership in a very professional manner. Jessica has excellent customer service skills in dealing with customers, a great sense of humor, and an overall understanding of what the customer may be going through when presented with an over whelming list of repairs for their vehicle. As mentioned,my sales experience with Mike Swerett and Rich(sales manager) was extremely favorable. Regarding my new Volkswagen...it truly is a pleasure to drive(actually I even enjoy admiring it standing still!) One other individual at Prime Volkswagen(formerly Claire Volkswagen)is Bruce(parts manager). He is definitely deserving of recognition. Bruce is extremely knowledgable however,and perhaps more importantly,he is genuinely friendly,helpful and courteous. I believe Bruce has been with the company many years and he truly is an asset(I buy all my parts/accessories thru their parts department). My overall experience was so favorable,I enjoy just stopping in to say "Hi" from time to time. More

the service department at Prime VW exceeds all expecations I have ever had. The hours are exceptional ( you can normally call and get an appt the same day) The service folks are pleasant, even wh expecations I have ever had. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else! I come there even for little things like an INSPECTION STICKER. (which is out of my way but they are so easy to deal with which is why I keep coming back. I was there last Friday night for an Inspection Sticker for my Toureg which I had just taken out of storage in my garage as it's getting close to snow season. Just looking around, noticed the Tiguan's and thought of the gas mileage being better etc. Jason Broker, spoke with me, answered my questions, checking in with another person to be sure he was giving me the right answer ( which is nice when you can ADMIT that you dont know everything!) A rareity with car salesmen. Jason walked me through info, which I know a lot about VW's as this is now my 4th...I own an EOS, have owned a Jetta and a Toureg. Jason was great, He deserves kudo's for his assistance to me. One issue which is NOT Jason's doing...but the dealership...it was a promotion for snow blowers. I had to sign off on a paper that I wasn't being discriminated against but I didn't get a snow blower. the reason was that I was getting a lower price on the vehicle (it's the price that was quoted to me, in writing, the Friday before I bought it) The advertisement said you would get a snow blower, there was no caveat to this......I think they should have honored this. Ira Rosenberg should have provided me with one. Would you let him know this please? His TV commercials indicate he wants to know about any problems....let's see if he walks the walk after talking the talk. Thank you.... Everyone we worked with at this dealership was great. My wife called ahead of time and talked to Rich Demsey who worked with the numbers she gave him to find us the right car to test drive. Steve was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, he had already talked with Rich and was clearly up to speed on what we were looking for. We found our new car, Steve and Rich gave us numerous options and were very helpful in finding us the best price possible that fit our budget. They gave us a great deal on our trade in, the next day we picked up the new car which Steve had ready to go for us. As new residents to Maine we were pleasantly surprised to work with people who took pride in their service as a change of pace. We usually don't fill out these things so that in itself hopefully should say something. More
