Prime is by far the best customer service I've experienced in the auto industry. They care about what problems you're having, and how they can fix it. They were the only people to tell me about my timing belt having a tear. [I went there for something else and they told me about that too]. Since it was my first time visiting there, I went somewhere else to have a second opinion. Sure enough, they were right and it was about to go any second. I had been to plenty of people with my 03 jetta because it was a nightmare of problems and they were the only ones to tell me about my timing belt. They replaced it for a reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame. They answered all of my questions and didn't question me once. I would definitely recommend them for any servicing you need. More

Going into Prime, I didn't go in with the intention of purchasing just any vehicle. I knew what I wanted and was very firm about that with Liz. She was very helpful in finding me the right car that fit my needs and wants all at the same time. I had to be picky about the car I wanted because it was important to me. She helped me find the exact car I was looking for at the best price and I couldn't thank her enough! Everyone at Prime was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. They didn't make me feel pressured and made sure I left there happy and with the best deal they could get me! I appreciate it very much and I love my new car!!! More
I was in the market for a new Passat in February of 2010. I bought my last VW from Prime so they were in the running. My initial contact with Prime was positive. However, I did a review concerning the last car I bought from them. The review was rather neutral but the overall rating was over three stars. Prime did not like the review. I guess it was too honest for them. Instead of trying to redeem themselves and trying to win me back they used a technicality to get the review removed. To be honest I don't want to work with a dealer who isn't willing to work if something goes wrong. Instead of doing what was right, Prime did what was easy. Not only did they lose the sales this time because of their actions but they lost my business for good. More
This is the third car I have purchased from these folks and the first new one. I appreciate that Rich contacted me ( he was the salesman I originally bought from 10 years ago ) and we moved forward in a ti and the first new one. Mike spent a lot of time going over the new car's features( and survived my test driving!! ) and I left feeling that he went above and beyond to answer my questions about the new car. Derek was also very friendly and polite and informative when it came the actual purchase and I am now glad to have had the protectant applied to the car before I left. I have vast experience with the current Service Department Team and my experience of them is that they are friendly, honest and probably glad that I now have a new vehicle! I also want to acknowledge the mechanics who kept my 99 Jetta going so long and also Justin, the current Service Manager for his integrity with the last work that was done on that car. I have had nothing but the best from this great "team" and I seriously, can't thank each and everyone of you enough for all your help over the years! When I returned two days later he worked out an excellent new lease for me with free maintenance service with a 39 month lease at an affordable price. He had a car ready for me to go with all the features I wanted in a few hours. He was very informed about the car I wanted and was very professional and courteous and not high pressure. My entire experience was very pleasant. More

I went to Prime to purchase a car and have been looking for a few weeks. I had found one on their website and they told me that was the one I was test driving. After I test drove it I was shocked to find o for a few weeks. I had found one on their website and they told me that was the one I was test driving. After I test drove it I was shocked to find out that they car I wanted to test drive and the one I did were not the same. Then, I decided to try to work with them on price. They told me MSRP - MSRP and gave no room for negotiating the price. I had my own financing lined up and they told me that that meant nothing and that they gain a kick-back from the financial lenders. So the fact that I had been pre-approved meant nothing to them. They hold your keys to your trade-in - making you feel trapped until they give them back. Then they tell you one last time, they will check with the manager. I went to Prime mainly because I had bought a car from Prime Nissan in 1997 and had a very good experience. I will not go back and I would not recommend them to anyone. The whole expereince was a dissapointment. More
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how "out of our face" all of the professionals are that work at the Prime VW dealership. I called Jason, he had me return to Saco, and within a reasonable amount of time, all was fine and dandy. Two new tires. As a former New Yorker, has this occurred there, I would have hung by my toes for 3 days before I received such great service. To Jason & Ira (my real name is Ira but it was too fruity to use in New York, I must complement you on your 100% legitimate commercials.
