Scott was very attentive and personable. He is the reason we stuck around to look at the CC more closely. I came in with limited credit history, no trade-in and no down payment, and I left with the car payment I asked for and an amazing car. Both Mary and Steve are incredibly friendly (and hilarious) and even th down payment, and I left with the car payment I asked for and an amazing car. Both Mary and Steve are incredibly friendly (and hilarious) and even though I'm sure the dealership made a thousands of dollars on the sale, I went home feeling like I had SAVED thousands of dollars. That's exactly the way a good dealership should make you feel. I have absolutely no regrets and I would encourage anyone interest in a VW in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont or any part of New England to make the trip to Saco and ask specifically for Mary Fromknecht as their salesperson. As a young, inexperienced buyer, Mary made me feel confident and well informed of the pros and cons of the car rather than feeling overwhelmed and pressured. Joe Frechette is excellent. He listened, answered our many questions, guided us through the purchase process. He checked on us a week later to see how we were doing with the car, were we satisfied with many questions, guided us through the purchase process. I am not sure who will read this but I would like everyone to know that this has been, by far, the BEST experience that I have ever had!!! I was driving by the dealership and noticed a vehicle that was of interest. I turned around and drove into the parking lot. I drove around and was checking out different vehicles. I felt no pressure while "browzing". I was not approached, I was noticed, and given my space. When I was done looking around, I entered the building and began my inquiries. I was directed to Bonnie. She was absolutely FABULOUS!!! She asked the right questions, answered all of my questions, and the best part about my experience is that she was extremely down to earth, and NORMAL-she didn't apprach and interact with me like the stereotypical "SALESPERSON". She went with me for the test drive and explained the car to me in an informal way...YES, I may have scared her to death while on the highway, checking speed, braking mechanism, and the like...SORRY BONNIE!! When we returned we discussed the logistics of a potential purchase. She was matter of fact, not pushy, and treated me like a person. She was real. She did her job effeciently and when I decided to make the purchase, I was really pressed for time. She accomodated my needs and worked with a sense of urgancy! From the moment I crossed onto the Prime property to the moment I departed with my purchase, I had a wonderfule experience. I will go back for my next purchase, and I strongly recommend this dealership to EVERYONE! Thank you Bonnie for making this a GREAT experience for me! You are great at what you do! We went to the dealership to check out the Jetta Sportwagon TDI. Joe was there and cheerfully showed us the different options and packages. We test drove a standard and an automatic. With the service department closed, Joe and his boss prepped the car and programed the radio presets for us. We drove our new car home that night with a "WE Owe" form, which was cheerfully honored on another day. I purchased a rear bumper protector, which they also installed at the same time. Great car buying experience and great service. When I arrived for my appointment, Joe met me at the door and walked me over and introduced me to Joel in the service department. Service after the sale, what a concept! As for the car, whats not to like? our best mileage so far was 44 mpg! Gotta love that. More
