This salesman has all the attributes that contribute to a positive buying experience. He displays an unwavering focus on his customer and exceeds expectations. He is an exceptional listener, attentive, knowledgeable, positive, courteous, receptive, informative, and above all obliterates the stereotype persona of a car salesman! I recently purchase my 3rd vehicle at this dealership, and although past experiences have been good, this one was exceptional. I had an accident with my 2nd Volkswagen and he was very helpful and committed to assuring that I found the best replacement. He has raised the bar and I will recommend him highly to anyone I encounter!!! Sales personnel are the key to a good buying experience and Volkswagen North in Scottsdale aced it when they hired him! I lease my Jetta. At 30,000 miles I took my car in for my free oil change. the service represenative said my brakes needed to be replaced along with my roaters. The sensor light was not on? Nevertheless, he said they only last 28,000 miles and quoted me over $400.00 I decided to wait till the sensor light went on. At 38,000 miles, I took my Jetta to my family mechanic because I was really worried about the brakes. The sensor light was still not alerting me... go figure, my mechanic said I had 30 % of my front brakes left and I didn't need new brakes. North Scottsdale Volkswagen Service Department reps are liars and rip off artists. Do not trust them. Check with a real mechanic before you listen to these scammers! More
David sold me my VW New Beetle TDI in 2006, and I was really happy that he was there to help me buy our new 2012 Jetta TDI! Chad was great in finance, and although he is required to offer an extended wa really happy that he was there to help me buy our new 2012 Jetta TDI! Chad was great in finance, and although he is required to offer an extended warranty, he was very professional, added no pressure to "back end" us, and made the paperwork as simple as can be. David has years of experience and knowledge about the VW brand. He loves to talk with you about the car you are interested in, and NEVER uses high pressure. I have visited this dealership twice to have a couple of items repaired on my fairly brand new vehicle. The first visit consisted of a diagnosis for the problem and to order necessary parts, the second was items repaired on my fairly brand new vehicle. On both visits, I pulled into the service area and waited to be greeted. Nothing. I had to walk inside and track someone down to assist me. Maybe this is how this dealership operates, however, I have never experienced this at any other dealership before. And because there are only what appears to be two service advisors, I had to wait quite a while for assistance (even though I had an appointment). And the sad part is, I stood waiting outside the service manager's office for approximately 15 minutes, of which he couldn't have bothered to ask if I had been helped, or just a simple acknowledgment. Each time I spoke to the service advisor, he seemed to think I was there for an oil change, even though he was the one that ordered the parts for my vehicle. I was told that once the parts were delivered to the dealership, I would be notified so that I could schedule an appointment. Since I never heard back after a week of waiting, I contacted Marty again to find out the status to which he replied "who ordered the parts for you?" I thought he was joking. He wasn't. I had to explain who I was once again. Utterly ridiculous. When I brought my car in the second time, it took over 3 hours for the repairs to be completed. The only status update I received was when the car was done. As of today, both items that were replaced on my car are still not working properly. I had also noticed a small dent on my drivers side door which was not there before as well. I didn't mention it to the service manager as I felt they would not accept responsibility for it. I will not be returning to this dealership. I should have learned my lesson the first time around, and went elsewhere. There is a definite lack of customer service at this dealership, and I will not give another Penske dealership my business. I will also be filing a formal complaint with Volkswagen North America, and have advised friends and family to stay away from them as well. More

The first adjectives in there were especially necessary in getting me into a new car. I'd been to several other dealers and they were so aggressive and rude. They didn't even ask my name nor offer me their names- just "What are you looking for today?" straight off the bat. "I'm looking for a different salesman." So, I got the one I was looking for at VW North Scottsdale. The trade in offer I got for my Saab was very good compared to other dealer/broker offers. The finance team worked well with my negotiations and questions. Everyone I worked with was considerate and knowledgable, which instills greater trust with me while doing deals. The negotiations took a few hours, but that was mostly because of me. The contract process was efficient and simple and my car was ready for me by the time I was done. Overall, a very pleasant experience with a great car at a great price. More

Mr. Bonanno explained everything in detail to me and at the level of which I could understand. He made me feel comfortable and the process of the lease was quick and painless.
