Awful car buying experience here. There was a ton of sit around and wait for hours and hours, trying to come up with numbers for a lease on a 2022 Tiguan. I sat at the dealership for probably 5 hours having to make small talk with my salesman who sat around with me while his team "crunched the numbers". Up until the very end, then the paperwork process was extremely rushed. After signing, there was a delay on the financing department's end with my trade-in. They needed to verify the payoff before the auto-draft came through, which they failed to do. I got stuck with two car payments that month. I escalated this to customer service and ultimately spoke to the general manager, Alex Garcia. He was rude, condescending and unkind and offered absolutely nothing, not even an apology. Overall a very bad experience as I did not get a good deal on the Tiguan and then was treated extremely unfairly. I truly regret even going here. The guys at DeMontrond are more straight forward and ethical, I would go there. More
Recently traded in my 2021 Jetta for a 2022 Taos. Filled out a Cancellation Form with Oliver Johnson to submit for a refund and for GAP refund. After about a week or so didn't feel easy about this form being sent in. So, went back and spoke with Renee Schmidt-Birman to ask her to check on this. She took the time to check to see if the form had been submitted. She sent it in also. She has great Customer Service skills. Anyway, finally spoke with Oliver Johnson and was told we could pick up he check from the dealership soon. Well, here we are at nearly the end of week 14 and no check. I also, left a message for accounting. Of course, NO RESPONSE yet!! Someone needs to let me know when the xxxx I can pick this check up, If I owed them money they would sure as the devil harass me for it. NOT AT ALL HAPPY!!! More
I was recently there getting work done on my 2020 Tiguan. My representative was Willie this last time my experience was horrible. I dropped off the car on Tuesday 08/16/22 the car was not worked on till 08/2 My representative was Willie this last time my experience was horrible. I dropped off the car on Tuesday 08/16/22 the car was not worked on till 08/25/22 I lost time of work and the customer experience was the worst. I felt that the gentlemen Chris and Willie are sexist and do not respect women. I complained multiple times that the car has a banging metal drop noise on drivers side it was not till last Thursday that Alonso helped me and understood my complaint but the other gentleman were rude and even bothered that I would ask the status of my car my father had to go to the repair department to speak to will so I could get a rental vehicle to get to work. Which I find ridiculous. I am a paying customer who no human being should be treated this way ever unacceptable. He was not responding to my calls. I would have to find a way to get to your location to get answers that are unacceptable. I am waiting to receive a survey to fill out because I would not recommend to my enemy to purchase from this location of how horrible this experience has been. More
Only good thing to say is that their price was good on the vehicle I purchased. Apart from that, this has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had thus far. I purchased a used vehicle and chose to get it delivered since I don’t live in the area. The vehicle showed up with 2 miles left in the tank, barely made it to the nearest gas station to fill up. There were 2 massive chips/cracks in the windshield that I wasn’t made aware of. The car wasn’t really detailed inside or out (figured outside would be dirty from transport anyways). As soon as my paperwork was complete, I never heard back from anyone at the dealership, no follow up, nothing. Since then it has been like pulling teeth to get ahold of anyone. It has now been just about a month and I have still not received my title either which I have called for multiple times and been given the runaround. Customer service is very subpar especially considering the fact that there are so many other dealerships around with wonderful service. Please do better. More
I had the opportunity to work with Brian W. today.. he was FANTASTIC!! He was very knowledgeable about the car I was buying and made the whole experience actually pleasant. Beware! !! If you want a good price on a car or a fair trade in value for your car or even just a good experience for buying out your lease, this is not the p !! They will lie to you to get you into the dealer and try to get you into a horrible financial deal that just benefits them financially. They think that once you are in the dealer that you are theirs and you will accept any deal. Ibra the sales guy will ignore you and give you any excuse to get off the phone with you. He will literally not return your call if you have questions hoping you want call him back. Oliver Johnson is trash too because he will not help you in a lease buyout even though they tell you they will. He will talk over you and won’t let you express yourself or f you let him. Don’t bother reporting anyone because no one is accountable for anything except selling cars and when you try to make to place a complaint Alex Garcia the GM will not even respond to an issue. There are better dealers in Houston so take your time while shopping but also consider the service after purchasing, this is hands down their weakest point. This is not a place you want to go to after buying a car from them because once the deal done, you are on your own. Trash!!! More
Took my car in for a recall service and the technician (name is David Torres) at the desk told me It will be around 2 hours. I came back after 2 hours the same technician told me "Oh I thought I told you (name is David Torres) at the desk told me It will be around 2 hours. Atrocious experience - bought a car five months ago and they still haven't transferred the title, despite constant promises to do so. Blanca in Customer relations is truly the worst person for the job. Very rude and unhelpful. First Volkswagen tried to sell me a brand new car with a door ding (they hoped I wouldn’t notice). Then they put me through the ringer trying to get it fixed. Blanca called to schedule me an appointment. I took off work to drop off my car and no one is to be found. They schedule me a second appointment and a similar thing happens again. After much wasted PTO and no apology I will never be buying a car from here again. More
