Never had an assigned Repair Rep. Appeared to be chaotic although people helped when questioned. Estimated time went from 2-21/2 hrs to 3. The technician is excellent. Last November we bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler for my daughters first vehicle from Clearlake Volkswagen. It overheated before we got a mile down the road and was smoking. We brought it back and they sa daughters first vehicle from Clearlake Volkswagen. It overheated before we got a mile down the road and was smoking. We brought it back and they said it was normal. I forced them to take it back and fix it. They had it for over a month and I had to call daily to check on it. We got it back and it was ticking in the engine, they said that is normal for a Jeep! Shortly after we bought it, several modules in the engine went out and the Jeep died on my daughter driving home from school. Paid $1,100 to fix. Next the vehicle died again on her way to school and it ended up being the TIPM module (brain) and it needed new push rods and rocker arms (basically the top part of the motor rebuilt), after fighting with the horrible warranty company they sold us on for over a month, they paid for part of the repair and we still have a $2,500 repair bill. Got it back and just a month later it died in the drive-thru of a restaurant and had to be towed again. This time the fan motor locked up and blew out the radiator and the warranty company doesn't cover any of this, so we have another $2,500 bill to pay. This Jeep has been in the shop more than it's been out. On top of a horrible $2000 waste of money vehicle warranty, they slipped into the paperwork a $3,000 charge for tire and wheel package which I didn't see! How do you have a tire and wheel package for a used vehicle with original rims! I would definitely not ever buy a used vehicle from this dealership as obviously they don't stand by their products and have left us paying over $6,000 in repairs and $5000 for a warranty and wheel and tire package that we can't use, so we have spend as much in repairs as the Jeep is worth, all because my daughter just wanted a used Jeep Wrangler. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A USED VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY DEFINITELY DON'T STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE THE SALE IS FINAL, ON TOP OF RIPPING YOU OFF FOR A WORTHLESS WARRANTY AND STEALING FROM YOU ON A WHEEL AND TIRE PACKAGE FOR A USED VEHICLE THAT DOES NOTHING! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND PEOPLE! More
If I could give less than one star for their service department I would. You make an appointment you drop your vehicle off and they can't get to it till 6 dais later, and they don't call you to tell you department I would. You make an appointment you drop your vehicle off and they can't get to it till 6 dais later, and they don't call you to tell you this they just hold on to it. Phone lines always busy voicemail box full. Never will come here again I'll travel 30 + miles to go to a different dealership now. More
