Service department wake up! I recently visited the service department being I had a flat and needed to know if they had a specific tire brand and spec in stock. I asked this question several times with the service advisor and she refused to answer the question and was unable to send me to parts and did not have the ability to find out. Had she just answered the question I would have but wasted 3 hours there to have a tech look at the car and approve a new tire then to be told in the end we don’t have it. As soon as the tech saw what type of car this was and what tires is needed they should have made a plan and sent me on my way. They did however say is new tire would be in next day and still could not tell me how much it would be. The service manager never chimed in as I was getting irritated because my time was wasted. That just tells me my time is not valued and he had no resolution for this situation. Knowing that the tire size was not a normal brand or spec I decided to return to the dealership whom I bought the car from three weeks prior in hopes they would have one tire in stock; big mistake. will not be returning to this service department again. Quick in and out. I thought I needed new brakes and ended up not needing them. Most dealerships would've said okay and charged me. They did not. Honest service! My visit here to the used car lot this evening was terrible. Sales guy was nice, but the finance office is awful. Told them upfront this is what I want, they said ok. Also, I caught they were putting a charge of $939 for some xx Clear coating on a used car, and $399 for VW swag bag, which is $30-$50ish, off the web. I could go into detail more, but I will save it for VW Corp, and social media. I’m not letting this go lightly. If you need a used car, go to Carvana. Much easier process and they bring the car to you, no games what so ever, very straight forward. Anyone that was charged the $939 for ceramic clear coat coating should have a 3rd party verify it, this place needs a fraud audit done on them. More
