I arrive early for my appointment and was taken care of immediately. The process was easy and I waited for the service to be completed. Bryan was wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable about the vehicles we were viewing. The process was painless and didn’t feel like a pressured sales experience. It was a rainy two hour trip to Clear Lake Volkswagen. I had an 11 o’clock appointment with Barry Engelbrecht to test drive a 2018 Subaru Forester Limited. I saw that car sitting right out front ready for m had an 11 o’clock appointment with Barry Engelbrecht to test drive a 2018 Subaru Forester Limited. I saw that car sitting right out front ready for me, as soon as I pulled into the dealership. Barry was standing in front of me almost immediately in the showroom, smiling, friendly, happy to greet me. We chatted for a bit, then headed out in the drizzle for the test drive. I told him I had anxiety about driving around in Houston especially in wet weather, and he was very understanding and took me on a route behind the dealership that I felt safe driving on. He asked me a few questions about the car as we drove, but let me talk about exactly what I wanted in a new car as he listened and nodded. He made me feel very comfortable and there was zero awkwardness. Back at the dealership, we headed to his office to discuss other cars, other options and my satisfaction with the one I had just driven. I confessed that it was exactly what I wanted, so we began the purchase process. In less than 3 hours total, I was driving away in my beautiful new silver Subaru, having bid farewell to my little 2010 Subaru (that I got what I asked for on the trade-in) and my new friend, Barry. I have never had a more positive experience in buying a new car than I had at Clear Lake Volkswagen. Every person I dealt with was polite and made me feel like a valuable customer. I highly recommend this dealership. It’s bright, pretty, clean, well organized and they have a huge inventory. The sales people are professional and knowledgeable and not pushy or impatient. Sure, they want to sell you a vehicle, but they WANT you to be happy and satisfied. I am loving my new Forester, and I feel like I got a good deal too. More
Always had good service over the years. Once had to return bc they didn’t tighten bolts and had to redo some work. Service Department is great! My 2020 Tiguan kept displaying Oil Change Service but I only had 3600 miles. Service representative told me I did not need it but they would work on the recall for trans displaying Oil Change Service but I only had 3600 miles. Service representative told me I did not need it but they would work on the recall for transmission software. Great job for telling me I didn't need the oil change, since oil change sevice was not reset when I purchased my suv. More
Everyone was very pleasant and informative about what they were doing to my car. Would have liked to see everyone’s face mask worn above their nose! That didn’t sit well with me at all! Had agreed upon pricing when I left the dealership. Came in to buy 2 days later and would not honor pricing. They understood we had triplets at home and had to arrange for sitters.
