Overall I like the dealership although the majority of the personnel didn't wear a mask. Kind of ironic if management tells customers to wear masks yet its own employees don't wear them. What makes this dealership so special and what makes me want to come back time and time again is Carlos Melendez, the friendliest, most professional, and honest service person I have ever met. Visited for a brake booster replacement, the day that the booster was fitted I had to return twice for incorrect fitting issues. After the final issue I had to return later as a part needed to be ordered. I booster was fitted I had to return twice for incorrect fitting issues. I called 10 days after to check on the part only to find out that they had not ordered the part and now it was still 7 days out. The Parts team always answer the phone asking if you can hold. My shortest hold was 7mins, only for the phone to be picked up and asked if I could hold. The Service teams individual voice mail boxes are all full and the phone system kicks you out to have to once again dial and bounce around again. One time I called to speak to Service and was told by the girl answering she could help, when I explained I had wanted for 35mins for the Parts Dept and then they sent me to a Service team members voicemail which was full, she laughed and said "I know". If you know say something. This is a main dealer representing the VW brand. The staff are friendly but there is a systemic issue to the way there phone system works and the internal depts coordinate. I used the same VW dealer in Kansas City for 15 years and loved them, but I think I might need to drive a little further than Brandon for my VW dealership. More

Typically great service (in area since 2009) this time the stars didn’t align. Challenges with communication, parts on back order, lengthy trouble shooting, car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks and the stars didn’t align. Challenges with communication, parts on back order, lengthy trouble shooting, car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks and we had to initiate and pull information/updates. Even when our service rep said he’d call later that day we’d have to call the next day to initiate an update. It got to the point where we sent an email to the GM. We did get a phone call from our service rep with-in 30 mins but never heard back from the GM? Very disappointed, this is not usually the response we get from Brandon VW or any of the many VW dealerships we have worked with all over the country and Germany (Military and lived in NC, AL, FL, VA, PA and Stuttgart Germany). More
Johnny G was very courteous and was up front with the quote on the work I needed done on my EOS. He keep me informed throughout the process via text and let me know what needed to be done. I called for service and they got me in and out the next day. I thought the brake job was a little pricey but they did all the work and I am quite satisfied with the results.
