After 10 years of being a faithful service customer, this experience was my worst by far. I only asked for a diagnostic on a car that was working. When I chose not to have the work done because I thought the experience was my worst by far. I only asked for a diagnostic on a car that was working. When I chose not to have the work done because I thought the price was ridiculously overpriced for what was being done I thought I would get my car back the way I brought it. But that was it the case. I barely made it onto the road before all the lights and alarms went off and I drive it right back in before it complete fell apart and died in the middle of the causeway. In those 5 minutes my service tech had gone to lunch and passed me off to someone else. I guess I expected him to take a minute from his lunch and come out to see what brought me back so soon but no. When I got a phone call later I was told that after I told them I wouldn’t be making the repairs the tech said “the service guy just put the bolts back in as is and gave it back”. Then I was told the service would be over $1200 for a few parts that cost less than $150. I agree people should be paid for labor to do the job but that was too much. I was also told that if I only decided to replace the parts and not do an engine cleaning that was an additional $700 that I’m only getting a slight chance car would be fixed and if I had to bring it back for the engine cleaning I would be charged double the quoted price. I will say that although the service tech was not rude to me I didn’t feel any compassion at all. In the end I feel if you’re a new customer or long standing customer there is no difference or feeling of value customer treatment. I will be looking for a new car but sadly it won’t be from here. My car was towed to the service department and Johnny kept me informed throughout the whole process. I had a new battery installed and all new tires. I picked up my car the next day in the morning. I was very disappointed with the visit. Had to pay 625$ for something that should have been covered by warranty. Could not speak to a supervisor (not in).
