Ali took the time to listen to my needs and exactly what my budget was. He put in the best car for my money and the car was delivered to me in showroom condition. Dont go here. They conduct illegal business and its a scam. Bought a car from here months ago and still have to submit paper work. Wish I never stepped foot on the lot. scam. Bought a car from here months ago and still have to submit paper work. Wish I never stepped foot on the lot. More
I found the car on Craigslist. I'm a first time buyer, with questionable credit, so a $7,500 Caliber seemed like a good car to satisfy both my need for a car and to build my credit. After test driving with questionable credit, so a $7,500 Caliber seemed like a good car to satisfy both my need for a car and to build my credit. After test driving the new car, I was told that the car was actually $10,000, not $7,500 as advertised. Bait & switch is illegal as far as I know. Stay away from this place. More
If you don't go past this sentence at least know that YOU SHOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. I've purchased cars twice from this dealer. The main reason I came to this dealer is that Tony is a friend of mi SHOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. I've purchased cars twice from this dealer. The main reason I came to this dealer is that Tony is a friend of mine but he only took care of finding me a car and making an offer. When it was time to sign the papers it was always Ali I dealt with. Tony says he is a partner in the dealership. Both times I purchased a car I made a down payment. Both of those times the amount financed was just above the price of the car as if I had not made a down payment. Also, both times I received an unofficial looking receipt for the down payment with a stamp that read "No returns, No refunds". Before I even saw any papers Ali was asking for the down payment either in cash or check. He made sure I left the "Pay to" portion of the check blank. When the check cleared it was made out to Najif Ali Khan. I guess my down payment went to Ali's personal account instead of to Virginia Motor Corporation. Makes me wonder if his partner knows about this. I made sure I asked for a Carfax but never having read a Carfax report before I didn't know what was on it. Ali showed me the Carfax showing me that the car had been in a "minor" accident when the car had only 10 miles on it and that the amount of damage was $892.00. It turns out that what he pointed out as the mileage when the accident occurred was the Carfax entry when the car was first sold. The accident where it hit the guardrail happened a year later. The -$892.00 amount was actually the CARFAX History Impact number which meant the car was worth $892.00 below the average value of this model. The bottom line is I got fooled by this dealership twice so shame on me! I did my homework but not well enough. I rushed into this buy and paid the price. Stay away from this dealership. More
I purchased a used care relatively easily, however, it wasn't after I walked out that I discovered how incompetent this dealership really was. I had to follow up with the bank on basic financing, get my c wasn't after I walked out that I discovered how incompetent this dealership really was. I had to follow up with the bank on basic financing, get my car inspected myself, and then go back to the dealership 3 times before I finally got my plates. It would have been better just to deal with the DC DMV myself, which is saying something. Although they were friendly, they never seemed to understand what was needed and not once did they try to compensate for their failures. This dealership just is not worth your time. More
