Since it was sort of an emergency situation, she made sure that a loaner vehicle was ready to go when I arrived at the dealership so I could be on my way to work and not have to take any time off. When I picked up my Beetle, she honored my request and connected me with the tech that checked my car so he could explain the nuances of my vehicle. The entire experience was quite clear and very reassuring. I waited half my life to buy a bug, and I cannot say enough positive things about both the sales staff (thank you, Lynn!) or the service staff (thank you, Charolene!). I had never loved a car until buying my "Boopsie," and Village VW offers a great support network for standard service that keeps the love affair alive. Thank you! More

Damsel in distress I came in on a Saturday afternoon after service had already closed and I had a flat tire! One of the salesman was able to help me find a worker that was still there and he was able to plug my tire and get my tire light turned off! I’m so thankful they were able to help get it it fixed on such short notice and were super friendly and understanding! Thank you Andrew and Travis! More

Terrible service experience After a 14 day wait and $4,500 of service we've had to take our CC back three times because issues continue to occur. The first time immediately leaving the dealership after the initial service. I got no return calls from anyone in the service dept. after leaving two messages; a broken windshield from a crack that originated below the hood level; and, ultimately having to replace a windshield at our own expense when it wasn't our fault. In the past, VW of Chattanooga tried to charge me for service I told them not to do. I've now had to request assistance at the VW corporate level. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. More
40,000 Mile Service on my wife's Passat I made an appointment to have the 40,000 mile service done on my wife's 2013 VW Passat at 7:30 a,m. on Tuesday, July 25. I had been told that it woul I made an appointment to have the 40,000 mile service done on my wife's 2013 VW Passat at 7:30 a,m. on Tuesday, July 25. I had been told that it would be a lengthy service so I asked about a ride back to my home when I dropped off the car. When I arrived at Village VW, everything was ready to begin the service. Randy Barger, the service representative with whom I had made the appointment, had the paper work ready for me to sign and he also had the "courtesy van" set to give me the ride back to my home. The van driver's name was Tim (I failed to get his last name) and he was a very professional and courteous individual. When the service on the car had been completed, I received a call from Randy around 3 p.m. notifying me that the service had been completed and that Tim was on his way to pick me up. Once again, Village VW was truly exceptional in providing the service needed on this car and the courtesies extended to me were exceptional. I recommend Village VW highly and do not hesitate to do so. More
Long Wait I took my Passat in for the emissions update (finally approved by the courts and California). I was aware of two other recalls that also needed to be I took my Passat in for the emissions update (finally approved by the courts and California). I was aware of two other recalls that also needed to be handled so I was prepared for about a 3-4 hour wait. When I checked in, I was made aware of a 3rd update that would add minimal time to my wait. My complaint about the visit is this - only after about 5 hours of waiting was I approached by my service contact and told it would be just a bit longer. Two hours later I searched out my service contact to see how much longer the updates and recalls were going to take. I really was surprised I was not better informed or sought out within the dealership to keep me aware of the challenge being faced with working on my vehicle. Had I known there were issues I would have made different arrangements for at least having something to eat while waiting. As it was, the dealership provided popcorn and soda or water in the waiting area. I would have appreciated knowing what was going on rather than just getting one update then searching out information for another update. More
Took my 2014 VW Passat TDI in for the EPA service plusr I had received word that the EPA work for my 2014 VW diesel Passat TDI was now ready to be done and made a reservation to have this work done on Frida I had received word that the EPA work for my 2014 VW diesel Passat TDI was now ready to be done and made a reservation to have this work done on Friday, July 7, at 9:30 a.m. On arriving at Village Volkswagen, I was also told that a heat filter replacement process had been e-mailed to Village VW the night before so they wanted to do this work when I was there for the EPA work. I greatly appreciated this offer from Randy Barger, Service Advisor for Village VW. I was told it would take approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete this work so I very comfortably waited in the "Waiting Area" where I was able to enjoy peanut butter crackers, popcorn and a diet coke. Village VW has always been most gracious in providing refreshments in their very comfortable waiting room along with a TV, daily newspapers and magazines. Randy kept me advised of the progress being made on my car which made my "waiting" time seem much less than it actually was. At about 10:45 a.m., Randy came to me and told me that all the work had been completed on my car, he provided me with all the documentation I needed to me able to confirm that the diesel engine situation on my 2014 Passat had been taken care of and he told me which pages I needed to be sure and keep in the glove compartment of my car. I highly recommend the service department at Village Volkswagen as well as the individuals who discuss what needs to be done on my car and certainly appreciate the professionalism of the individuals who perform the work! More
