Seamless, low pressure, high service. On out first visit to Village Pointe in January of 2017 we were greeted outside by Rusty Russell. We explained that we were just "browsing" trying to see what was available as far as third row seating, I didn't even know the Highlander was an option. During that visit Rusty not only answered any questions we had about the vehicle, but he also took the time to show us around the entire dealership. He introduced us to the service department, showed me where to bring my new Toyota for service (in the event we ended up purchasing), showed us where we would wait when that service was being done and all the little extra amenities that Village Pointe offered. Including a quiet room!! :-) At any rate, I left there loving the Highlander, but more importantly being super impressed by the service. I told Rusty that we weren't in any hurry, our lease on our current vehicle wasn't up until May. I also told him I would be looking at other makes and models. He understood and did not try to pressure me into any decision at that point. That day I looked at a ChevyTraverse, a GMC Acadia and a Honda Pilot. I had been out with my dad that day and went home to tell my husband that not only did I like the Highlander the best, but that I wanted to give Rusty our business simply because I appreciated his service. He continued to be super patient with us as we weighed our options against the GM vehicles because we did have GM points accrued and they were offering some pretty decent incentives. He never hassled us through the process but checked in every once in a while to see where our thoughts were and to let us know what his stock was in the vehicle that we wanted. When we finally (over two months later) did end up purchasing the vehicle, he even kept an eye on our two busy kids playing in the toy room while we were signing all the paperwork. I work for a company who stresses service above all else so it is something I am always looking for when I am purchasing anything. Thank you Rusty and Village Pointe Toyota! I LOVE my Highlander! Rodney was personable from the first time we spoke and my wife and I felt very comfortable working with him. He was thorough in his explanation of the new Toyota RAV4 and its features but was also very open to our questions. He was very clear and open about the financial side of things as well. Too many times dealerships are vague and rush the customer, leaving the impression that there is something to hide. Village Pointe Toyota was a breath of fresh air.
