I have been very pleased with the customer care I receive when I come in for my Camry. I also owned a Prius and am looking at a Prius V in the future. I recently brought my car in for it's 30,000 mile maintenance. Back in February, the 25,000 mile maintenance check cost me approximately $100.00. This covered oilchange tire rotation, brake and fluid maintenance. Back in February, the 25,000 mile maintenance check cost me approximately $100.00. This covered oilchange tire rotation, brake and fluid check etc. This time the cost more than doubled! The only difference was the installation of the cabin filter. Labor costs over $137.00, shop costs up from $7.00 to over $13.00. This was very upsetting to me! I am now wondering whether I will continue to bring my car back here for service. This is very troubling. More
Do not give Metro Toyota your credit card number under any circumstances! They will load it up with false charges. I wanted to purchase a Prius wagon and I solicited bids from area Toyota dealers. I visi any circumstances! They will load it up with false charges. I wanted to purchase a Prius wagon and I solicited bids from area Toyota dealers. I visited Motorcars Toyota and took one for a test drive. They would not go below sticker price. Metro Toyota did not have any Prius wagons, but had some on order. Over the phone, they offered to go 1,000 below the sticker price. I gave Metro Toyota my Amex number to reserve a car and went back to Motorcars Toyota to show them the offer. Motorcars offered to match the other's dealer's offer, and I signed the papers and the financing with them and drove the car off the lot. I immediately informed Metro Toyota that I was going with the other dealer. The salesperson, Elizabeth Easley, became very belligerent and threatened to take me to court and to charge Amex for a deposit. Her manager, Jerry Moore, followed up by calling me a number of times at work and making threats. My Amex account posted a one thousand dollar charge from Metro Toyota. I disputed the charge, but Mr. Moore assures me that they will force Amex to pay them. Please note that I have never set foot in Metro Toyota and never received a car or anything else of value from them. Their Prius wagon was still in shipment at the time I took delivery from Metrocars Toyota. I am very happy with the services I have received from Metrocars Toyota and with the vehicle I purchased. The manager at Motorcars Toyota has attempted to intervene with Metro Toyota to no avail, so I am appealing to the BBB to resolve this. More
If you buy a car here the staff is extermely outgoing and welcoming, however that is where the good times end. I suggest that you are a very educated buyer and know as much about what you are buying and goin welcoming, however that is where the good times end. I suggest that you are a very educated buyer and know as much about what you are buying and going to be paying. that is a given. i was and still got railroaded. price had been agreed upon, then i looked into leasing. first time leasing, not educated enough. the dealer snuck in a reserve on the lease contract that cannot be accounted for or explained of $1300. basically its $1300 dollars they are making for taking my buisiness to the bank on my lease. i questioned this difference in what was on paper and what was on one piece of paper and what was on the contract. i should have walked, if they cant explain, your being folded. i know better, but my payment, which i did not negotiate on, i negotiated on price was still pretty good. but it should have been $30 better. buyer beware. i will not buy another vehicle here, and i suggest you dont either unless you are confident you have all the information you need to be and informed buyer. I am strongly dissatisfied by Robert. Everything happened different that he told me about the car. First he told me I am not going to pay down for the car and will get it with 2.9 interests for 60 months. So different that he told me about the car. First he told me I am not going to pay down for the car and will get it with 2.9 interests for 60 months. So I accepted and left deposit but the day after he told me that i need to pay down payment for the car. He also insisted me to give my old car like a trade in. Because he thought i don't know that much and despised me because my English is not very well. But i am very smart and have a very successful resume and it wasn't difficult for me to figure out what he is trying to do. He also told me that this car has the remote key but old owner didn't bring it so he would give another one 2 days later. But what he told me is yesterday car doesn't have the remote key and when i ask him like how is that possible he wasn't that respectful. He was talking loud and wasn't listening me and repeating same thing again and again when i ask him something. He also show his car's remote key and told me that I am going to have the same key for my car. Then he said car doesn't have the remote key. And also when we are discussing about the car he told me I am going to be approved for 2.9 for 60 months and no down payment. So I asked him what if I don't be approved, then he told me that “ Do my eyes seem like I am lying I won't let this happen. you got the deal, leave your deposit I ll call you tomorrow noon” but the day after he changed everything . My rate is 0 for Robert out of 10. Richard is not a person that I can trust, too. When he checked my credit score he checked in 3 credit tracking company. He was supposed to consider highest one to help me out to buy the car. But He told me the lowest company's score to get more money from me and higher interest. As I mentioned He and Robert thought I am a dumb person don't really know about the stuffs and just came to US. And they despised me. But I still love Toyota My complaining is not about Toyota company just about those 2 people. And also yesterday I brought one of my coworker to Metro Toyota to buy a car for him. But I didn't want Robert to be helping him. Margie is helping to my friend and she is so nice. My rate is 0 for Rich out of 10 More
The Internet salesman John Brandon was rude and The Internet salesman John Brandon was rude and unprofessional when I attempted to negotiate a lower price on a used Highlander. When I had offers The Internet salesman John Brandon was rude and unprofessional when I attempted to negotiate a lower price on a used Highlander. When I had offers from other dealers, he demanded to see them in writing. I had 2 written offers via email and 2 verbal offers via telephone but that wasn't good enough. I made an appointment and drove 125 miles to see the vehicle only to be told it was on a test drive. I was on a schedule to see two other dealerships before they closed for the day and could not wait. He stated in an email to me; "Maybe you should be looking for a cheaper car if you can't afford the Highlander?" This kind of condescending attitude will make sure that I will never do business with Metro Toyota Scion of Cleveland again and I will advise all of my friends and family members in the Cleveland Ohio area avoid this dealership. I Just purchased a truck and decided to take it to Metro Toyota for repair as the check engine light was on and assumed that they would know best, "assumed" is right! I was greeted by Paul who asked what w Toyota for repair as the check engine light was on and assumed that they would know best, "assumed" is right! I was greeted by Paul who asked what was the reason for my visit today, I told him that I just purchased the truck and would like it checked out completely as well as look at why the check engine light was on. I also aked them to look at why the brake light was on. Earlier that day I released the emergency brake cables, the right rear brake was dragging. Later that day I received a call from Paul with a list of issues that needed attention. 1 The Oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. 2 The emergency brake cables needed to have 2 hours spent on them to free them up or a half hour to release them, I chose to have them released instead of the 2 hour price, after all it is a 1995 tacoma. I assumed that the brake light would be off as that was one reason for my visit. 3 the mass air flow needed to be cleaned. 4 the throttle body needed to be cleaned, it was sticking. 5 the air filter needed to be replaced. 636 dollars later I picked up my truck only to find the brake light still on. After questioning Paul, I was told that the cable were not replaced only released and the light would remain on. I was never told that the light would remain on, and apparently will remain on until I spend more money to replace the cables. I was also told that spark plugs and wires were needed yet I replaced them only hours earlier. After speaking with the service manager and getting nowhere with no resolution I left and went home. Four hours later my check engine light came back on so now my 636 dollars that I spent seems to have done no good. I tried to call Ken the general manager, had to leave a message and wait for a return call as I refuse to talk with Paul. He apparently feels that we are all idiots and have no idea how cars work as this was his tone when we talked. I gave them a chance and they failed. I will never have any future dealings with Metro Toyota. More
