I was surprised to hear that I needed new brakes($497), after having them checked by a local, trusted service station just one week ago. When Stephanie called to say they were bad, and that the pads weren't making good contact with the rusty rotors, I asked her to keep the old rotors (so I could take them back to this local (trusted?) service station). When I picked up the car (~ 3:15 pm) I again asked if the old rotors were left in the trunk of my car. She asked another man, who said they were in my car. My problem? When I got home in Independence, no rotors. Ok, maybe simply an oversight, but I do not have a good sense of trust from this experience at Metro Toyota. Otherwise, things were done quickly. I was content with Stephanie explaining all the details to me, as she relayed the mechanical information from the shop. But, I'm left with a bad feeling. I don't like to recommend my families' business to a dealership when I'm not sure they are honest. Were NEW spark plugs put in or did they just say they did the work? Change the coolant/invertant? New Serpentine belt installed? My recommendation to you is to always offer the old part(s) to the customer, so they can see the condition of the old part(s) and that the work was done. This, I would trust. More

They needed the truck for At my last service for an oil change on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma I was told there was a warranty recall to undercoat the frame. They needed the truck for three days for this service so I scheduled an appointment for a time when we were going out of town. I brought the truck in for service the day before we left the country. When we returned I found out that this service had already been performed over a year ago at Metro Toyota. I remembered having the truck serviced for a frame recall but I didn’t remember what was done. There was no charge for the service but I wish they would have realized this before I brought the truck in and saved us both a lot of time. Also at my last visit when I brought the truck in for for the oil change I noticed on the way home that the ‘maintenance requred’ light was still on and so I had to return to the dealer to have it reset. 99% good I paid in full 13,000 + on a used Toyota corolla se, traded in my Tacoma, and have been a faithful customer for years, my father , mother Ann Morley I paid in full 13,000 + on a used Toyota corolla se, traded in my Tacoma, and have been a faithful customer for years, my father , mother Ann Morley and Ken Morley all bought cars at Metro. I am 67 years old retired Cleveland Police Officer, every thing was going Ok until the Manager had me sign over my title and write the checks. This person must think he's a big shot as he talked down to me, like I was a kid, his people skills need to be addressed. He acted like he was doing me a favor, and I just paid in full for my used vehicle. I am happy with the car but how many people pay in full for a car? not many. He did explain my free oil changes and tire rotation , still I think I should have been treated with respect.. More
