I bought my first Subaru here back in 2010. The experience was okay. Fast forward 10 years later I bought a Subaru Ascent from Bilal. Bilal took time to understand my requirements, my timing, and my budget. He was very patient and thorough in going through each feature and spec of the car. Then came the part about negotiations. I had done some research and was prepared for a difficult and thorough conversation. I told Bilal where I wanted to be, and without hesitation he went back and got me a better deal on the car than I expected! I have owned the car for almost a month now, and he still calls to make sure I don't have any questions and that we are satisfied with our purchase. I found the Subaru I was hoping to find at Victory Subaru in Somerset NJ. I’arroved and asked for Jorge who was my initial internet contact. The Man could be a Saint. Thanks Jorge!! You rocked it! On arrival I was introduced to Jon who would handle the actual sales process and then I met Mike who would handle the financial details. Despite a huge storm and a four hour power outage all the parts meshed with flawless precision and a great sense of camaraderie and purpose. In all of my 68 years and many vehicle purchases I have never seen such an efficient and stress free process. I would like to thank the entire staff as many whose name I never got were instrumental in making my purchase an enjoyable expierence. My hat is off to every staff member and management for the best new car buying expierence of a lifetime. The salesperson I dealt with was Bilal Akmal. He was excellent! Very patient, did not pressure me at all, made the otherwise intimidating process of car buying very smooth. I am still amazed at how entirely smooth everything went, and NO PRESSURE at all! Bilal walked me through the process, ran the numbers with me, and sent me home driving my new Crosstrek! Joe, the finance manager was very approachable and made me feel comfortable making the transaction. I have no hesitation to recommend Victory Subaru as a contender for top Subaru dealerships, and I have been to several and have not had the same pleasant experience as I had here.
