Myself and my family have shopped this dealership for 20 plus years and probably bought 25 cars between all family members. I went to the dealership on June 9,2022 to buy a Honda Civic they tryed to over ch plus years and probably bought 25 cars between all family members. I went to the dealership on June 9,2022 to buy a Honda Civic they tryed to over charge 5000$ for the car said it was a market flex price increase. There’s nothing on the sticker on the car note if on increase. So dishonest so I ended up buying the same car from another dealership that was honest they didn’t add 5000$ to the price. So I’m not sure they even care they lost a loyal customer for life. Also reported them to the state of Michigan on there price scams. More
Please stay away from Victory Honda Plymouth. They will charge $3995 above the sticker price (Limited time market Adjustment) on New Honda CR-V 2022 models and I was cheated by them. Victory Hond They will charge $3995 above the sticker price (Limited time market Adjustment) on New Honda CR-V 2022 models and I was cheated by them. Victory Honda sales person mentioned to me that all other dealers are also charging the same. I bought the new Honda CR-V believing them. Next day, my friends told me that they did not pay anything extra on MSRP for their new vehicles. I went to 3 different Honda dealers in Michigan that day and found that none of them are charging any Limited time market adjustment price over the sticker price set by Honda. Victory Honda management not giving any clarity on why they are charging more on the sticker price. When I visited the Victory Honda again to ask for clarity, the Management said that they can sell cars for whatever money they want. They are cheating customers not showing the correct amounts on the final bill. They will never give you time to review the documents that you are signing and they will hurry you to sign the documents in 10- 15 minutes and walk you out of their office. Victory Honda never mentioned the Limited time market adjustment money in the final bill as a line item. If it is a legitimate amount to be charged to the customer why are they not mentioning that in the final bill? In addition to the $ 4,000, you will also pay $1,000 for ELO-GPS that is installed on all cars by Victory Honda (not by the manufacturer). Why is ELO-GPS a must? Why is it not an option? Another way to steal money, right?? More
Took my daughter to purchase or lease her first new car. We had visited another dealer the day before. With a quote in hand we entered and asked for three options which all came back 100 more a month then t We had visited another dealer the day before. With a quote in hand we entered and asked for three options which all came back 100 more a month then the quote in hand that I didn’t share with them until then. Salesman speaks to his GM and price came down only if I signed that day. At that very moment I knew we were being taken advantage of. RED FLAG!!!!!!So being the man I am I told the salesman that honestly with your customers gives you longevity with them. Respect is earned never given! Immediately after that statement he went back to his GM and then shortly came back and I was asked to leave with my two daughters. I wasn’t disrespectful at all just pointed out the obvious which they didn’t appreciate. My daughter was Embarrassed with our discussion but this was a great lesson in life. Never allow yourself to be taken advantage of. Victory Honda did us the favor. I much rather give our loyalty to a dealership that deserves it. More
This is one of the most DISHONEST dealerships I have ever done business with. On December 13, 2021 I took my 2019 Honda CRV in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. At the time of my visit my vehic done business with. On December 13, 2021 I took my 2019 Honda CRV in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. At the time of my visit my vehicle had approximately 8700 miles (no, that is not a typo). I was assisted by Maureen in the service department. When going over the services to be performed, she told me that I was due for a brake flush which would cost $146. I specifically asked if this was needed based on my mileage. She told me it needed to be done. Trusting what was told to me, I said to proceed if it had to be done. About an hour and a half later Maureen approached me in the waiting area and told me her team could not remove the air valve caps from the tires for the back two wheels. She said they were fused to the air valve stem. I was told it would cost me $35 to replace the valves for each tire. I authorized new valves on the back two tires where the caps could not be removed. Sometime later I went back to check on the status of my vehicle and saw it was ready. Another associate tried to cash me out but due to some issues, I was told I needed to wait for Maureen to return from lunch. Maureen returned from lunch shortly thereafter and began cashing me out. I was initially told that I owed a little over $300. When I questioned the amount, which should have been around $216 before takes, she told me the total was right. I owed $146 for the brake flush and $140 for the valve stems. I mentioned that the valve stems should be $70 for two tires as that was what I authorized. She then became snotty and rude telling me that I was wrong and that I authorized new valve stems for four tires. I know what I authorized and why would I authorized new valve stems for tires where the caps could be removed. After debating the issue and receiving extremely disrespectful treatment from her, she eventually corrected the price. She was not happy. You know how when a child is unhappy they stomp their feet. The situation was similar but instead of stomping her feet she stomped her fingers on her keyboard. During the drive home I began to question if a brake flush was really needed. As soon as I returned home I contacted some people I know who work in the automotive industry (car dealership owner, a Ford executive engineer, and a service agent for Toyota) to ask about the brake flush service. Every single person I spoke to said I was not due for this service, especially since I only had 8700 miles on the vehicle. I then contacted Honda Customer Service who told me how to look up the scheduled maintenance schedule for my vehicle. Per Honda, this service isn’t due until approximately 30,000 miles. I sent an email to the general manager outlining my experience, letting him know he lost my business, and requesting an immediate refund of $146 plus taxes. To this date I have never received a response to my two email communications. This dealership does NOT care about their customers and completely took advantage of me and my lack of automobile knowledge. I have subsequently filed a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau, and Honda corporate offices. On January 25, 2022, I received a response to my BBB complaint (same copy as above). Their corporate counsel indicated that “we ran diagnostics on the customer’s vehicle. It triggered Code 7 on its read.” Further indicating that this code necessitates replacement of the brake fluid. Upon contacting two different Honda dealership service departments, I was told by each that in order to obtain a Code 7 result, my vehicle needed to be connected to diagnostic equipment. At the time they told me I must have my brake fluid replaced, Victory Honda did not have access to my vehicle. It is such a shame that a business operates in this fashion. All to get $146 out of a customer. And when the customer learns of said dishonesty, the lies and false information continues to build. PATHETIC!! More
Do not go to Victory Honda! They lie over the phone to get you in and then they are charging a Marketing Fee over the sticker price of the car. Very Snotty attitude. Do not go near this dealership, I don't think there is a shadier business in the area. I had seen a special on their website for leases on 2021 Civics for 170 a month (excluding taxes) with a 3K down paymen shadier business in the area. I had seen a special on their website for leases on 2021 Civics for 170 a month (excluding taxes) with a 3K down payment, so I went in for a test drive. I confirmed this before taking a test drive too, although the salesperson actively tried to not talk about price. After about 45 minutes of wait and test drive, I asked for a quote on the most basic Civic trim and the cheapest price they gave me was 360/month (same down payment) which was more than double what was advertised and a ridiculous price too. When I mentioned that this was not the price I was expecting, the dealer took away the printed quote, said it's confidential and then left without saying goodbye which I found extremely rude. More
