Hello, My name is dale roe I am a 63 yr old maintenance worker at a seniors apartment. I drive a 2018 Ford F150 that I purchased about 2 years ago. Recently in December I took it to Victory Ford at the Legends due to some transmission issues. They said that it would need to be repaired and the charge would be right at $2000.00. I approved the repairs and paid them $1926.47. By Feb my truck was having the same issue. When I had Victory Ford check it out they stated now it meeds a new $9000.00 transmission. There is much more to this story about Victory Ford cheating customers. I will post this on every website that I can. People should know what is happening at this KCK dealer. I sincerely hope that your channel will assist me In righting this wrong. I paid $2000. To ride for 60 days and still have no truck. Dale E Roe More
I drive 30 miles one way to have all service and repair work done on my F150 even though I didn't purchase it there. I know they are busy but they always treat me fair, give me an update during the servic work done on my F150 even though I didn't purchase it there. I know they are busy but they always treat me fair, give me an update during the service and I use the Ford Pass app on my phone to earn points, check for recalls, view service recommendations and updates. Any Ford dealer can service your vehicle but Victory Ford does it right the first time and the service department is great to work with. More
Service Department is very slow. Everytime I have been there it takes over 2 plus hours for an oil change. I'd give it zero stars. Total bailts and switch operation. Read the fine print on any email offers you receive from them. Waste my time! "The $49.99 Works" deal is a scam. You have to purchase $100's of dollars of other Service items before they give you the $49.99 price. Not mentioned anywhere on the email. Avoid this people. More
My husband and I went in intending to purchase a 2016 F-250 and trade off my 2018 Nissan Armada. I had already secured financing approval for the truck through the credit union that has my Armada loan. W F-250 and trade off my 2018 Nissan Armada. I had already secured financing approval for the truck through the credit union that has my Armada loan. When it came time to work numbers, our salesman wanted to know what I was approved for. I told him that I was not going to divulge that information because all I wanted to know was what they could offer me on my Armada. He then wanted to know what my payoff balance was on the Armada. Again, I told him I was not going to discuss that and I wanted to know what they could offer. He went to have his discussion and came back with a laughable lowball offer. He tried to explain that there was a noise in the rear suspension and it would likely need work. My husband and I both told him there was no noise and there never has been. I gave him my counter offer on the trade because I figured they would be more likely to meet in the middle if I shot high. He informed me that he wasn’t going to go back and forth with this. It was at that moment I knew that I didn’t want to do business with them. He wrote on his paper “Will buy if trade in is $xxxxx” and wanted me to sign below it. I told him I would not sign anything saying that I WILL buy the vehicle. I will only sign if it says that I will consider buying. He proceeded to argue with me about the wording and I finally explained to him that I get paid to read the fine print of lien waivers and tax certificates, so I would absolutely not be signing my name to anything saying I would purchase the truck at this time. After he reluctantly changed the wording, I signed the paper and he went back to the other table. I could see my husband fuming by this point. A moment later the salesman returned with my keys, set them on the table and said “sorry guys.” His associates then, quite smugly, held the doors open for us so we could exit. I have purchased both new and used vehicles before, both with and without my husband present. I have never in my life been treated that way by someone at a dealership before. He had the cliche “frat boy with daddy’s money” attitude you see portrayed in movies and has no business working on the negotiation side of vehicle sale. More
Their service department cracked the windshield of my car and then claimed that it was already there. Had to pay twice what my initial service cost just to get it replaced. and then claimed that it was already there. Had to pay twice what my initial service cost just to get it replaced. More
Very dissatisfied with the service department. I took my car there to have them look at the left front wheel because a couple of weeks after the car had supposedly been serviced by Victory my car I took my car there to have them look at the left front wheel because a couple of weeks after the car had supposedly been serviced by Victory my car it began to shake violently and had a loud clicking sound when I drove it. My grandson came over to look at the car and told me the lug nuts on that wheel were only finger tight and that I was lucky it didn't come off when I was driving. I am a single woman, 77: years old and trying to live on Social Security. John was extremely rude. Despite me telling him several times why I brought the car in he pointed out my 2007 Ford Fusion is an old car and that he smelled oil, like I did not know the car is old. They were the last people to take the wheel off, didn't put sufficient oil in the car and did not tighten the transmission oil cap and of course didn't tighten the lug nuts so now the holes where the lug nuts go are cupped out and I think they should repair the damage they caused. John didn't even look at the wheel. He only made insulting remarks about the vehicle so I left without anyone looking at the car. If you have an older vehicle don't take it to Victory for any work it might need. This DEALERSHIP deserved a ZERO for service! More
We purchased a Chevy Malibu in December from Victory Ford. Our experience with our sales rep was fine, but as long as Michael Snyder is the manager, I would purchase your vehicle from a different deale Ford. Our experience with our sales rep was fine, but as long as Michael Snyder is the manager, I would purchase your vehicle from a different dealer. The day after we purchased the vehicle, we called our sales rep complaining of a strong burning odor coming from the car and he said it was just the oil burning off because they had just changed the oil in it and it should go away within a couple of days. The next problem came a few days later when the car became increasingly harder to drive and then the check engine light came on. We live an hour away from Victory Ford, so we took the car to our local Chevy dealer, where we have taken our other vehicles for years. They did a diagnostic test to determine what was causing the check engine light to come on and they discovered that the catalytic converter had been completely gutted. The quote to fix it was $1800, they also discovered that the windshield washer pump was broken which would be another $400. We called Michael Snyder to let him know what the service department told us and ask him if he would be able to help us, he said that since we didn’t purchase the extended warranty he would not be able to help us but we could come and have their service department look at it at the standard rate. Again, we live an hour away and had a car that does not have a catalytic converter…I told Michael that I thought the right thing to do would be for them to replace the catalytic converter or AT LEAST help us with the cost of replacing it. He told me that since they didn’t look at it first he wouldn’t be able to offer any discount, but that we could buy another car from him, or his service department could look at the car at their standard rate. He also added that McCarthy Chevrolet has a bad reputation, implying that maybe they tampered with the catalytic converter. We ended up taking the car to a local mechanic to save some money and he replaced the part for $1400. The mechanic could not believe that a dealership would sell someone a car without a catalytic converter, and even questioned if it is legal…He gave us the old gutted catalytic converter so that we would have it in case we want to take further action. I can’t remember a time when I felt like I had been blatantly conned by someone like this, our mechanic told us that it would be impossible for the check engine light to not be on when the car is missing a catalytic converter unless someone manually turned it off. Somehow the check engine light was off when we purchase it and came on a few days later. We went to a dealership because we mistakenly thought that their would be more consumer protection at a known business. I would never let a friend purchase a vehicle from this dealership, or Michael Snyder, and I hope this review saves someone from getting ripped off here. We noticed after all of this occurred that someone else posted a review about a very similar situation that they had with Michael Snyder just a few weeks before us. Shame on us for not doing more due diligence and assuming that a licensed dealer would have more integrity than this, lesson learned. More
Andrew - sales representative: easy to work with. Either via phone or in person he handled himself professionally and is/was prompt when it was necessary to gain additional information. It won’t be tomorro via phone or in person he handled himself professionally and is/was prompt when it was necessary to gain additional information. It won’t be tomorrow but I would gladly utilize he services. Kevin- service manager. I purchased a used vehicle. He went above the normal on what I was expecting. The truck I purchased decided to throw a small curveball that was not listed as a ‘fix it’ item. Kevin didn’t challenge the contract and just had the service department take care of the issue(s). I’ve bought many vehicles in my lifetime and it was the first time I never had that pit in my stomach feeling throughout the process of car buying. Oh yea, the coffee machine and waiting room they provide is awesome. Very pleased! Dan F. More
Not pleased with this service center. Called and let them know I was coming in at 3:15 for a standard oil change and would it be a problem. No problem. 3 hours later I've decided I will take my busines them know I was coming in at 3:15 for a standard oil change and would it be a problem. No problem. 3 hours later I've decided I will take my business elsewhere in the future. They have a window to the garage in the customer waiting area which is probably not a good idea for these guys. For the first hour I watched slow movement and plenty of cell phone checking and lollygagging between the service men. Then finally the truck before mine in the bay pulled out. Oh good, 'Im next! But no, 20 minutes the bay sat empty only to have a car come around the inside of the garage to take my bay spot! xxx! And hour later of sitting, waiting and watching I had had enough. I went to the service manager to complain. Told him just what I saw and he told me they were looking up parts on the cell phones! I was getting oil change, what parts are they looking up. The manager went out there to regroup the troops. Another manager comes out and says I need new lug nuts, and brake pads weren't correct. For some reason I don't think they would have said that if I didn't complain. I don't trust them now. Finally without requesting it, the sales manager gave me a free oil change but I still had to buy the lug nuts. I wish I would have kept the old ones. On the way out, I notice 3 oil spots on my seat. I asked a passing service guy. Don't you cover the seats, they said no. Absolutely pitiful experience all around. I could go on about how they had no records of my last oil change specs. Like brake wear. I will be going back to Midway Ford. They are the real pros. I wouldn't trust Victory Ford for anything More
