I recently came to Victory GMC and was greeted by Alex Streetman he was very friendly and he showed every car Victory had on my wish list. I rated this dealership and the employees I came in contact with a five. The reason for the rating is because everyone was very professional and customer service oriented. Mr Tucker was great also he addressed all our concerns and made sure my husband and I understood everything we were signing and then some. Both employees went beyond the scope of their duties to ensure our experience at Victory was a pleasurable one. More
Paul was very helpful and actually kept me informed of the current situation with my vehicle. My only complaint at this point is with GM(pontiac). I wasn't nearly as I had bought a new car from you in '09 and was very impressed with how Dustin worked with me to make the purchase palatable. I wasn't nearly as impressed with this visit/purchase. In hindsight, I wish I would've walked out. Not only because of the price I ended up paying but also because I drove 45 minutes, then had to drive my vehicle another ~20 minutes to your other lot and drive back. You should offer to drive the customer in one of your own vehicles (some customers may like that, some may feel like a hostage). Next issue, and the main item of my contention... the "Deal". I chose your dealership because of the (misplaced) trust I had placed in your organization, this is now lost. The salesman did little to work with me. We ended up buying the car at a price I now truly regret. The overall price was higher than I should have paid, not only for vehicle but also due to associated fees (admin fee= $399, honestly). I appreciate you fixing the brakes, but this should not be issue since you base your price off the vehicle being in "excellent" condition. In addition, the nice lady who helped process the paperwork told me Victory would fill up the gas... we left with 1/8 of a tank. I almost turned around and went back in but chose not to since I was already disgruntled, and late for a meeting I had scheduled in Montgomery... I was at the dealership for > 4 1/2 hours (and walked in with a pre-approved loan)! Bottom line, I regret my decision to buy this vehicle. I thought your dealership was different. Previously, I would recommend your dealership to my friends but will no longer do so. FYI, I will be buying a car for my middle daughter next year for her graduation, it will not be from Victory... I was determined to buy a vehicle, my daughter graduates from College in Mobile in May, I needed a newer vehicle. I have bought numerous cars in the past. I have dealt with numerous dealerships in the past. This transaction was BY FAR the easiest and most rewarding purchase I have EVER made! Great team at Victory and I used The website to search for the vehicle I bought. I made a call after finding a vehicle on the website, asked to speak to a salesman, James Ford quickly found out all information in my phone inquiry. I traveled from Hueytown Alabama to dealership in Calera and Mr. Ford had car (freshly washed) and waiting for my test drive. We drove car and had a very positive conversation about the management, facilities and service at Victory. returned to dealership. I made offer on vehicle, Mr. Ford quickly came back with a counter offer, I made a second offer, Mr. Ford returned promptly with 2nd counter and the deal was made with a handshake. Mr. Ford then brought me in to meet Mary Strehle and showed me the service department, parts and the customer lounge where I waited while paper work was drawn up for purchase. Within 30 to 45 minutes Mr. Ford brought me to Kim Kernop and papers were explained in detail and signed. This whole transaction from the time I left my house (45 minutes away) was complete within THREE HOURS! After I signed, Mr. Ford escorted me to my purchased vehicle (freshly detailed from shop) and told me about Victory's customer referral program. I was then on my way to deliver vehicle to my son as a graduation present! I received a follow up call from Mr. Ford 3 days later as he was wanting to check on how my son liked the car. WHAT A WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER...FAST, SIMPLE, and VERY REASONABLE in SALE NEGOTIATION! KEEP IT UP! I will be back! David Bullard More
