December 27, 2017 Very disappointed with my experience at Veterans Ford. Not sure if it was because I was a woman shopping alone or what. One reason for my disappointment was the finance person told the salesperson I was working with that if he could verify my income, he could make one deal happen. First of all, I already assumed before I got there my income would need to be verified so why would I give false information. I am not in the habit of lying or falsifying information. I'm not sure why a professional would assume I was lying and then verbalize that info. I'm surprised a company would employ a person who would make derogatory comments about a potential customer. Another aspect of my visit included being given 2 financing scenarios, after they had all my info, with payment information. This was done after the car was selected. When I picked the option I preferred, I was then told they could not get that one approved. I asked why would they have given me that option then. I was told "We're not the bank". My response "I realize you are not the bank, but you had all my info and you even put the payment info on the options so how did your finance director not know it would not be approved. Most finance directors know that info before they ever present that info to a customer".I was then directed to another vehicle that had less options than what I preferred. I did not particularly like that one. So my salesperson asked me to consider a used one. He then presented me with 2 options. I selected one of those options to purchase. After all of that, I was told by the salesperson they could not finance that one. The only option was the new vehicle I did not like. They could finance that one only. Needless to say, this was a horrible experience. I anxious to see if anyone from Veterans Ford contacts me to discuss this. That's a big part of customer service. Aaron was nice, but the overall experience was something I've never encountered before. More

First service experience I scheduled my new Escape's first service for 8am. Due to a nearby accident and traffic jam, I was late. Who sells a truck with mismatched tires?? Drove 120 miles to look at 2 trucks. Called yesterday, made an appointment and asked if prices were negotiable. Arrived to salesman not knowing where the 2 trucks were even though we gave them the item numbers. Had to wander around the lot looking for them both. Test drove both- the first one we did not really like. The second one we did- then realized it has mismatched tires. 3 Michelins with less than 5,000 left on them (2014) and a good year (2017) with new tread. Took the truck out for a test drive in the rain and the rear tire spun on the wet pavement with normal acceleration. Decided to make an offer on it anyway, knowing the tires would have to be replaced immediately- due to unsafe lack of tread on 3 and then the mismatch. Made an offer, not counter offer made. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! Nice salesman, but,,,,, More

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was referred to Robert through a friend that had just bought a truck with him. The day I came to the dealership, Robert greeted me with a smile and I was referred to Robert through a friend that had just bought a truck with him. The day I came to the dealership, Robert greeted me with a smile and I told him what I was looking for. There was no pressure and very honest (we all know that's not your typical car salesman). I then wanted to take a day & decide and again no pressure from Robert. I then learned he was only there to take care of a returning customer on his day off!
