My wife has been looking for a car for a while. Going to Volkswagen Vernon, we had a great experience with Angel Rivera. He put my wife in the car SHE wanted and absolutely loved. He listened to what she wanted and made it happen all within her budget. No cheap salesman tactics. Just a Super down to earth guy who cares for his customers. My car went in to get a repair. I was told it would be ready in 2-3 days and that they ordered the part. In 2-3 days, it wasn’t ready, but they told me it would be ready the next day. This happened 5 more ready in 2-3 days and that they ordered the part. In 2-3 days, it wasn’t ready, but they told me it would be ready the next day. This happened 5 more times over the next 2 and a half weeks while my car was getting repaired. Every time I’d call, they’d tell me it would be ready the next day. The manager did reach out to tell me that one of the part was faulty which delayed the car being repair and that they wouldn’t charge me for the faulty part. When the car was finally finished and I went to pick it up, not only was I charged for both the faulty part and its replacement, but the car also had 3 new issues. They tried to tell me the car went in with those issues. Two mechanics who specialize in VW’s have confirmed the new issues are most likely from the repair being done wrong. I’m still trying to get in touch with the service manager so they can fix these issues. To their credit, they did offer me a discount for the repair taking so long, though I haven’t saved any money since the discount came out to less than the cost of the faulty part they charged me for. More
I was desperate for a vehicle after a horrid experience with Carvana. I was able to chat with the dealer via online chat and text and found a 2018 VW Tiguan that I liked. Everyone was very easy to talk with and had the vehicle waiting for me when I arrived to test drive. Only a couple days later I was back to purchase the vehicle and it was pain free and very upfront. Tom and Jed were my main contacts and were very helpful and accommodating during this difficult time for dealerships with next to no inventory. I was pleasantly surprised that when I inquired about any dealership market adjustments, they said they were not doing that. Other dealerships were inflating prices by $3000. An overall fantastic experience! More
The evening of test driving, getting finance/ lease quotes and learning about the Tiguan and Cross Sport, with Tom, was flawless. It was a difficult decision until we sat in the 2022 Tiguan SE-R. It has everything we need, want and more. We were excited to go back the next day to finalize the purchase. Pulling into the parking lot seeing the gorgeous white on black car waiting for us was such a great feeling- until walking over to it. Seeing how dirty it was with water marks all over the windows was disheartening. However, Tom promptly greeted us and thoroughly went through the Tiguan’s features and infotainment system. While it was a lot of information to take in, his presentation really showed how much advanced technology the vehicle comes with. In the business office we were given an incorrect registration, pitched an over priced extended warranty and contacted days later that we never signed the loan agreement. When we returned to the dealership and spoke with Pete, the general manager, he genuinely did all he could to right the wrongs. His response to our mixed experience is the reason for a 4-star rating instead of three. More
