I bought a new 2011 Dodge and it was a great experience. They took care of everything including getting the tag for me. It was worth the trip and I will go there to buy my next truck. They even offered to pick up the vehicle and return it to me even thought they are about 2 hours away. The staff was the most friendly I have ever dealt with. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership. Will definitely do business with them again and recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new domestic vehicle or used vehicle. More
On Christmas Day 2011 my wife and I were traveling from Amarillo back to Dallas. The alternator on my Ford F250 went out about twenty miles outside of Vernon, Tx. Being Christmas day there were no busine Amarillo back to Dallas. The alternator on my Ford F250 went out about twenty miles outside of Vernon, Tx. Being Christmas day there were no business' open to provide any repairs at the time. I called a towing company who towed us into Vernon. The driver of the tow truck highly recommended Vernon Auto Group as a reputable company to handle the repairs. We dropped my truck there, got a hotel for the night and waited until morning. I called Vernon Auto Group the next morning as they opened. My call was returned in minutes by Jamie in the service department. I told Jamie about our situation and that we had been stuck away from home on Christmas and were hoping to get back on the road ASAP. Jamie called me back in two hours and informed me that they had diagnosed the problem as the alternator, replaced the alternator, test drove my truck, and that I was ready to go. Since our hotel was a few miles away from the dealership, Jamie offered to send one of his employees to come pick me up and bring me to the dealership. We certainly did not enjoy being broke down and staying away from home on Christmas. The service and professionalism provided to us by all those at Vernon Auto Group made the experience much easier. This experience also reaffirmed my choice in Ford vehicles. My F250 has 214,000 miles and has never needed a major repair, for which I'm very thankful. I would highly recommend Vernon Auto Group based on my service experience. I will also consider making the drive back to Vernon when it's time to buy my next Ford truck. I have bought several new vehicles thru the years and the older that I get, the more the experience seemed not to be enjoyable and almost to the point that I told my husband as we got in the car to go look a older that I get, the more the experience seemed not to be enjoyable and almost to the point that I told my husband as we got in the car to go look at the new Expedition that I had rather take a beating than go buy a new vehicle. It was a pleasure to do business with Robby Eads. He has the years of experience and lets the customer make up their minds without any high pressure sales talk. Another thing that I appreciated is that the only extra that I was offered was an extended warranty. The last new vehicle that I bought, I almost got up and walked out after telling them over and over that I did not want all the extra "crap" they were trying to sell me. I told Robby "thank you" for making the sales experience of buying my new Expedition an enjoyable one. Linda Pilcher More
Looked at several trucks that were not all really what I was wanting. They all had more than what I was looking for or not enough. I was told it would be better to order the truck I was wanting with the opt was wanting. They all had more than what I was looking for or not enough. I was told it would be better to order the truck I was wanting with the options I preferred. It came in having most of everything on it that I wanted. The only thing it did not have which I thought would have been standard equipment for a diesel truck was the engine block heater. All things aside other than that it was a great experience. The finance gal, Ashley was great to finish the deal with as well. More
This was by far the best new car purchase I have experienced. NO ONE can touch their prices which is why I traveled to Texas from Philadelphia. Staff hospitality was unlike I had experienced in any experienced. NO ONE can touch their prices which is why I traveled to Texas from Philadelphia. Staff hospitality was unlike I had experienced in any Big City dealership. My only regret is that I wish I had found these guys years ago to do business with. From here on out, all my future vehicles will be from this dealership! Overall experience was no nonsense which made it great. Numerous email questions I had asked were answered immediately and phone calls were promptly returned. The website is very descriptive, easy to navigate and contains every detail of every vehicle for purchase. Just an excellent experience for me! Respectfully, Alex Philadelphia More
BEWARE of this dealership!!! This was one of the most disturbing events of my entire life. If I could ever rewind time, this would be it. Mike Sanchez and the entire dealership were extremely unprofessio disturbing events of my entire life. If I could ever rewind time, this would be it. Mike Sanchez and the entire dealership were extremely unprofessional. We drove 400 miles ready to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. They didn't have the decency to clean the car...the interior was covered in dog hair, spilled coffee everywhere, sticky steering wheel, etc...it was disgusting. Also, Mr. Sanchez didn't have the decency to spit out his wad of tobacco. I guess he thought spitting his tobacco/mucous on the ground every 15 seconds (right beside my wife) would help him close a deal. DISGUSTING! They also play very childish games to try and get you to purchase a car. I've never experienced anything this horrible from a car dealership in my life. I didn't know car salesmen could be this bad. Very bad customer service. STAY AWAY! More
Importing a truck to Canada is an adventure that required fulfilling export "red tape" that can be confusing and daunting to say the least. I took a chance and purchased a truck via the internet with Vernon fulfilling export "red tape" that can be confusing and daunting to say the least. I took a chance and purchased a truck via the internet with Vernon Forde Dodge. I can only say that my experinece was very positive and they were very accomodating at every task. All my necessary paperwork was quickly processed, my truck was delivered to me at the airport AND most impotantly, the truck was as much (and more) than i hoped for in quality and condition. Bravo! i i certainly will not hesitate to deal with them again. Regards John Kozlowski Lorette, Manitoba, Canada More
