I would like to share a recent truck purchase I had with Vernon Auto Group. The whole experience was exemplary and pleasurable. I have never had such an easy purchase as the one I just had. As I reside in Midland Texas, I was hesitant to drive 4 hours for a purchase with numerous Ford dealerships in close proximity. I am glad I made the drive and would do it again. First, the salesman, Dane Townsen, and the rest of the staff were dressed casually which made me feel comfortable as I was wearing shorts. I have purchased numerous new vehicles in the past, I expected to meet a salesman that was dressed with a coat, white shirt, and tie, (100 degrees outside) I did not have the salesman running to the ‘tower’ or ‘sales manager every ten minutes, (all in an effort to wear down the customer on price) did not experience the ‘4 square’ tactic by salesman either. The entire process took around a 1 ½ hours, of which, I had lunch most of that time. Dane shared with me the features of the new truck and Kay Lynn was nothing short of professional. As for the Ford F350 purchased, it’s in the same category as the dealership I purchased the vehicle from, all I can say is ‘WOW’! More

If your opinion of car salesman was anything like mine, buying a vehicle is a pain. Dane and his co-workers changed my opinion and made purchasing my 2013 Ford F-250 an enjoyable experience. They advertise a transparent approach to selling cars and they followed through with my purchase. Even sitting in the dealership while I was signing paperwork, I overheard one salesman (don't remember his name) talking to his co-worker about how he felt the trade-in price was fair. That may not mean anything to people reading this but it did to me. He didn't know I could hear him talking which indicated to me that he wasn't putting on a show for my benefit. Not once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. The day I picked my truck up was a busy one for Vernon. They were shorthanded yet Dane didn't make me feel that way. Before I left the dealership, a warning light came on my truck. This was a big deal to me and in-turn, Dane and the mechanics made it a big deal for themselves. They didn't blow me off but instead, they stopped what they were doing to address my concerns. The warning light (low oil pressure) ended up to be a defective wire that came from the factory that way. It was fixed and I went on my way. I will be recommending Vernon to my co-workers, family, friends and anyone else I talk to. Trust me when I say that the drive, flight etc. to Vernon is worth it. More

From my initial telephone contact with Victor Overby and the actual delivery of my 2013 King Ranch Super Duty it was a honest, pleasant and professional experience. I was apprehesive and suspicious about the actual delivery of my 2013 King Ranch Super Duty it was a honest, pleasant and professional experience. I was apprehesive and suspicious about the price and the Lifetime Warranty and I emailed Victor over 188 times with questions until I was comfortable enough to place a deposit and I built the truck online and faxed the order to Victor and within the time frame that Victor promised my new truck arrived a week early. I ordered every conceivable option that I could and the truck was 1000% perfect when I arrived there and with a full tank of fuel. What also impressed me and others was that when my new truck arrived at the dealership I was able to view over 50+ photos of my actual truck on Vernon's Website. Great Photographer! At the dealership when I finally arrived I was greeted by Kim and her Big Friendly Smile ..within minutes I jumped in my new truck with Victor and Kim and we went thru every switch, button, on board computer, navigation, manuals etc..until I was satisfied enough and had no more questions. Victor and Kim have a tremendous amount of product knowledge and they would have spent the whole day with me until I was satisfied. Megan wrote up my finance deal with "No Pressure" and I was out the door and on the road in no time. The only regret I had was not spending more time at the dealership looking at all the trucks they had (most of them were already sold) and not asking Kim out to lunch..since she was so pleasant and informative to be around. I have bought many new vehicles troughout my life in different States but again I can't stress the fact that if you want real friendly honest and professionalism make sure to contact Victor at Vernon Auto Group. It was well worth the traveling and they have a customer for Life. As a matter of fact I am going to build and purchase a new 2014 F-150 and another family member is going to purchase a new F-250 Platinium from Victor in the very near future.
