Being from Vernon, Texas, my husband I go back there quite often. My husband was told at work one day about a great deal a co-worker had received on a new Ford F-150. So, the next time we went to Vernon, we stopped in at Vernon Auto Group and met with Victor Overby about purchasing a new Ford Explorer. He explained about going to the Ford website, entering what we wanted and then emailing him the specs, not to Ford. We did that when we got back home and Victor emailed us the Vernon Auto Group price, which was a very good deal. He ordered our vehicle and kept us apprised as to when to expect our new 2014 Ford Explorer XLT. When it came into Vernon, he let us know and worked at getting us the best interest rates on a loan. We picked up the vehicle yesterday. All the loan papers were ready and the vehicle was ready to go. Before we left the dealership, Victor gave me a complete in the car tutorial on how all the on screen menus worked and he synced my cell phone to my vehicle Bluetooth. Great business model and great process! This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Their transparent deals where they show you the window sticker and their Ford invoice makes it very e easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Their transparent deals where they show you the window sticker and their Ford invoice makes it very easy to see where their price is on the vehicle they are quoting and they also work hard to get all the rebates squeezed out and you get those on top of their price which was a little below their Ford invoice price and several hundred below the X-Plan price. On top of that, they were very competitive on the trade in price for my car (I compared by taking my car to local dealers to see what they would give me on a similar trade). Dane Townson and everyone else at the dealership are top notch and get you in and out very fast. I was scheduled to take delivery on Saturday morning and I arrived in town late Friday afternoon and stopped by the dealership to make sure if that was where I was to go the next morning and Dane asked if I want to go ahead and take delivery then and so we did. That was great as it allowed me to head back home (10 hour drive) early Saturday. They offered to pick up my car and deliver the new one to my home but I chose to drive down and see that part of the country and I am glad I had an opportunity to meet Dane and the others at the dealership.
