This has been by far the best customer service experience I've had with a dealership and will be a return customer when upgrading our fleet in 2020. Not all Ford dealerships are alike and in my opinion, Vernon is the best in the nation. I was the jerk who showed up at 5:30 when they closed at 6 - but no one rushed me and I test drove the vehicles I was interested in and made my selection. Good price. Below average service. I was looking for a specific van build with a good price. After doing a search on auto trader I found what I was looking for. My salesman (Morgan) con I was looking for a specific van build with a good price. After doing a search on auto trader I found what I was looking for. My salesman (Morgan) contacted me and we went over some things and everything was great. The only thing the vehicle didn’t have was remote start/bi directional remotes and I wanted to have this added at the dealer with factory parts. Morgan got me the price shortly after and I agreed but told him that I would need the itemized sheet so that I knew what I was paying for. I have done this in the past and have always gotten a breakdown of what parts are being used. How much those parts are and what labor costs are. A long story short I had to ask three times and still to this date never got the breakdown on this. It just seems a little shady that this was exactly $875.00. I had to drive 8 hours one way to get the vehicle (which was worth the money I saved on the overall price) and was assured that the vehicle would be ready when I arrived. When I got there It was not ready. The van was really dirty. My guess is that they keep these stored on a dirt lot in the back (it’s a cargo van). He said that they still needed to wash it. Not a big deal but it got a really crappy cleaning inside and out. The front and side windows had smudges and door jams and crevices had a good amount of dirt build up. This was a brand new van and have bought used cars way cleaner than this. Just would had been nice if it was really ready when it should had been and clean. They did not set up the bi directional remotes that I wanted. They had programmed the regular key fob to remote start the vehicle. Without the bi directional Remote I don’t know if the van is on without having to actually look at the van so I knew exactly what I wanted. I felt Morgan was frustrated and didn’t seem to understand why I would want the bi directional remotes but this was what we had agreed upon. He had to do some running around to get this corrected. So the tech had to be called back in to correct and of course did not look happy. I have had worse experiences with dealerships so other than these issues Morgan was very nice, the dealership building was nice and price was good on the van. More
