Julian has renewed my faith and trust in car salesman. He was very easy to work with about the price and I had him go around the entire car and check for any scratches, dents, chips, etc. He not only did that he also took a picture on his phone and emailed it to me showing 2 little scratches, and 2 little chips. He put his finger in the picture so I had something to compare it against for size. When I flew in he offered to pick me up at the airport and give me a ride to the hotel even though I didn't arrive until 10:30 P.M., but he offered anyway. The hotel had a shuttle which I took. He also located me a hotel very close to the dealership and picked me up the next morning to go get the car. When we got to the dealership to pick my car up he already had my paperwork ready and it took about 10 minutes then I was on my way. Which was great because I had an 11 hour drive home. I'm telling you, it was tremendously easy and simple. I've been in sells for 32 years and I know how sales people live off commission, and want to close the deal so they can get paid, but this was different, it was like he wanted to do the right thing and give tremendous customer service and treat people the way he wanted to be treated and let the commission come when they come. I would honestly recommend Julian to anyone who wants to buy a car. My wife will be in the market for a car in the near future and I guarantee we will check with Julian first. I was referred to honda by a family member. I went there and did not have a very good experience with the person who I first had contact with. He went over all the details of how to work everything in the car before and after my purchase to make sure I had it all down. He then called me a few days afterwards to make sure everything was to my liking, had things figured out and if I had any questions. My experience did a 360 after I dealt with Julian. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a car to deal with Julian. He makes a personal connection with you and has a great personality. More
Julian went out of his way to ensure that I found the right car that fit not only my budget, but my family's needs. He followed up with all my questions and if he didn't know the answer he referred it to someone and got back to me with the answer. Julian is very honest and trustworthy, so you can feel confident that you are getting the right deal with professionalism. I am always leary of stepping foot into a car dealership being a woman, but I felt that I was treated with honesty and respect. Kelly Harbin and the finance manager, Brad Lynch at Vern Eide made my buying experience like none other. I had so many questions and couldn't make my mind up for weeks. Kelly patiently responded to all my texts, calls and emails and never pushed. He just told me to let him know what I wanted to do. I have some credit issues so I was afraid to go and fall in love with a car that I would be denied for. So Kelly completely went to bat for me. He ran the numbers and my report and before I ever even walked into the dealership he let me know what I would need for a down payment and let me know if I could do thy down payment I could drive away with a 2013 Civic or Accord. I had my car picked out before ever walking in the door. He made the process so easy and was so organized. I wasn't a number here. I was treated like someone walking into the door with a credit score of 850 instead of the fairly low score I have. They never once made me feel bad about it. He told me what I needed to do to improve that score. Even after the purchase was made he taught me how to sync my phone up to the Bluetooth and how to program everything. He spent more time with me than I could have asked. I have never been more impressed or pleased. I will never do business with another dealership in Sioux Falls ever. Great job to Kelly and the entire staff at Vern Eide. I can't say enough good and can't extend my thanks enough for working with me. I love my 2013 Honda Accord and I am confident that nobody else in Sioux Falls could have made this happen for me. It's nice to know that some places still have enough faith to give people like me second chances at the car of our dreams that we NEVER thought we could get financed for. Many thanks!!! I have owned 2 Honda Civic Hybrids--a 2001 and 2006. Both were purchased from Vern Eide Honda and I have been very pleased with their service. Their "Honfidence" program with free tire replacement if you do all your maintenance (oil change, etc) with them is an excellent deal! While I love the mileage I get with the Civic Hybrid, I found myself wanting a vehicle that handles better in snow and ice--winters in Sioux Falls can make driving challenging! I did some research and decided I was interested in a CR-V. I stopped out at Vern Eide on Saturday afternoon and spent a most enjoyable afternoon working with Julian Nichifor--the gentleman who also sold me the 2006 Hybrid. Julian thoroughly explained the features of the EX and EX-L models. When it came time to negotiate a price, Julian was respectful and made what can be a very stressful process seem friendly and comfortable. When the purchase was complete, Julian took the time to make sure I understood all the "techie" features of the vehicle--including how to pair my phone with the vehicle. (what a difference from the days when power windows were the most advanced techological luxury available in a new car!). I'm sure I will turn first to Vern Eide when it's time for a new vehicle in a few years and I certainly hope Julian will still be there. I will highly recommend both Vern Eide and Julian to my friends and family! More

I went out to Vern Eide Honda on Saturday, December 8th, to find a new car to replace my 2002 Honda Civic, which I had driven for the past 10 years. After receiving an email stating offers that Honda was offering, I went out there to see what they had available. Upon getting there, I was greeted by my friend and salesman Julian Nichifor. I explained to Julian that I was looking for a new car and showed him the email. After perusing it very briefly, he said let me show you what I got. We then went and found a pair of 2012 Honda Civic EXs and LXs. He explained for EX's, I got a Metallic Polished or a Baby Blue. I instantly liked the Metallic Polished. He went and retrieved the keys while I walked around the car inspecting it. After he got the keys and brushed off a little snow, he said "Let's take it for a drive." I said, "OK." I felt so comfortable in the car driving it down 57th Street before jumping on I-229. I remarked to Julian that it was so smooth and didn't even feel like I was going as fast as I was in fact going. I loved the dashboard with the lights, the clock, the temperature, and of course, the visual speedometer. We returned to the dealership and I test drove an LX. I liked it but not as much as the EX. We returned again to the dealership and had my mind pretty much made up but didn't want to buy that day. I told him I'd call him Monday (the 10th) and come out that night. Over the next couple of days, I took my parents out and showed it to them. They both liked it as well. I went back to Vern Eide on the night of the 10th and signed the papers and met also with Damon to discuss the financing for the car. He was very helpful explaining what I needed to do and how everything was going to go. Julian wished me a Happy Birthday since my birthday was the next day and also told me that I was really going to like the car. I didn't pick it up until the 15th but it was well worth the wait. Julian helped me get my Bluetooth/phone set up as well as the car's other options. I have had the car for almost two weeks and I absolutely love it. Thank you, Julian, for being a good friend and helping me to find this great car. More
