I enjoyed the "NO" pressure sales experience. I visited Vern Eide several times and each time I did not get pressured to buy. Because of that I was able to really make a decision that was right I visited Vern Eide several times and each time I did not get pressured to buy. Any time I had a question, Jim was very willing to answer every question with detail and again, no pressure to buy. Overall an excellent car buying experience. Only one fly in the ointment. When we went to finalize the paperwork on the new car, I was told I would have to pay mileage overage to the end of the lease peri in the ointment. When we went to finalize the paperwork on the new car, I was told I would have to pay mileage overage to the end of the lease period. The actual miles driven were well under the lease agreement. These were miles I "theoretically" would have driven. I think that is a rip-off plus I was not informed of this in advance of the purchase. I had even talked to Ford Motor Credit about early pull-out on my lease and the person I talked to did not say I would have to pay for these "theoretical" miles not driven. This incident destroyed what was overall a very happy car buying experience. More

After visiting with the dealership over the phone and through email, My wife and I decided to make the trip and drive nearly 300 miles to look at a few of the trucks on the Vern Eide Ford lot in Mitchell through email, My wife and I decided to make the trip and drive nearly 300 miles to look at a few of the trucks on the Vern Eide Ford lot in Mitchell on our way to visit family. We had been visiting with Mack Miiler in the days preceding this trip and he was kind enough to come in on his day off to show us the trucks that we were interested in. After looking over a few vehicles we found a truck that met our expectations and had pretty much everything, if not more, than we were looking for. The sales process went pretty smoothly, and I believe that we reached a price that was fair for all involved, and Dan Heidinger really worked to help get the truck down to the price range that we needed to be in. Overall the whole process from walking the lot to leaving in our new truck took less than 3 hours, which was great because we were traveling with our two young, road-weary daughters (Vern Eide has a great customer "lounge" and kids area, which was great!). We found all of the staff that we encounter to be pleasant and helpful, and really enjoyed our experience at Vern Eide Ford in Mitchell. We would recommend Mack, Dan, and the team to anyone looking for a good vehicle at a fair price. More
