Do not buy the extended warranty. Had vehicle issues and warranty company and dealership both said was covered by the other company. I was quoted a price to replace a part and found a different place that I ended up taking my car to. When I called the next day to tell the dealer about changing my mind, I was informed that I would different place that I ended up taking my car to. When I called the next day to tell the dealer about changing my mind, I was informed that I would have to pay the 45% restocking fee. When I then spoke with the service manager, he said I had to pay the fee due to it being “a very time and labor intensive process to return a part” and someone had to be responsible. This “fee” is over $200. Two other dealerships in the area informed me they wouldn’t make their customer pay this just for changing their mind. I feel like this is just a way to make money and to be honest take advantage of who was an extremely loyal customer. They have lost a customer who has not gone to anyone else for service in the 8+ years I have lived in town. Extremely disappointed. More
Mike the Service Manager is so awesome. I have a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer in which the cruise control quit working right after I leased it. He was on top of it to figure out the problem. Once he did and ordered the part then GM parts started with their agonizing problem of no parts. With no backorder date, no answer to when or any updates as to when it would be in. Mike kept me updated, offered me a loaner if I needed to drive to Minnesota to see family because of health related issues I rely on my cruise control. So almost 3 months later GM finally shipped the part and Mike got me in right away to fix my vehicle. His kindness, compassion was the only reason I did not throw a big fit and besides it was not his fault it was GM Parts fault! So any service you need take it to Verne Eide in Mitchell as they always go above and beyond. Also on a side note if you are looking for a new vehicle to buy or lease look up Trent the Sales Manager and his sales crew. I have worked with Trent for a long time and he is the most kindest person you will ever meet. He goes above and beyond to help you get what you need or want.Trent thanks for all you do to help me. You rock!!!!! More
