Kid Friendly Dealership! I am a typical woman who loves the experience that comes along with shopping. Every other time I have purchased vehicles from other dealerships I have I am a typical woman who loves the experience that comes along with shopping. Every other time I have purchased vehicles from other dealerships I have been straight up lied to about a vehicle having cruise control (it didn’t) and told to look in the manual (*eyeroll*), among other unpleasant experiences. Needless to say I haven’t enjoyed car shopping before… Well, Jonathan Hatwan is officially my new car shopping BFF! I specifically asked for a white Traverse with heated seats and a couple other random features within a specific price range. The very first vehicle he showed me was perfect in every way. I additionally had my eight month old daughter along and he did not hesitate about putting her car seat in and taking her along for the test drive so my husband could come, too. My husband purchased a truck from Jon last year, and when we came back down it was like visiting an old friend. It goes without saying, any time we are in the market we will be coming back to Vern Eide to see Jon! Now onto the finance part… We interacted with Trent Hennagir. In general, there are many “upsell” options at the point of financing. After having a discussion with Trent he actually recommended a specific package to cover “excessive wear and tear” on our lease based on the condition of my trade in vehicle (kids, I tell ya!). Prior finance officers have tried to talk me into packages that were above and beyond my needs, but I appreciated the thought that Trent put into providing a recommendation without overwhelming me with the details of the other packages. Thanks to everyone at Vern Eide for working as a great team, being kid friendly, and making car shopping fun! More

After sharing this with our salesman Jon, I was contacted by Levi from management. He arranged to return the vehicle to the dealership where the issues were addressed and the next day our car came back to us clean and full of gas and gifts. When they said they wanted to make things right they backed their words up with actions. More

He made engaging conversation, and showed us a couple similar options before we test drove the GMC. While test driving, Jonathan showed us how to work all the options and pointed out special features. Our concern was a chipped front bumper. Jonathan helped us find a solution. Helped fix a problem I have had a check engine light on in my car for quite some time and sort of knew what it was, but didn't know what the cost of fixing it was going to I have had a check engine light on in my car for quite some time and sort of knew what it was, but didn't know what the cost of fixing it was going to be. I had done a little research and was worried it was going to cost around $1500. When I came in for my oil change, I had asked if they could look at the trouble code that I had and see if they could tell me how much it would cost to fix the issue. Mike graciously helped me out and asked my serviceman Pete if he knew what that code could be and he was pretty sure it was a quick and easy cheap fix. It turned out Pete was right and saved me a ton of money and time because I would not have fixed it for a while if it was much more. I really appreciate all the help. More
