MARCELINO IS THE MAN!!!!!! MARCELINO IS THE REASON I HAVE HAD MY RAV4 SERVICED AT VENTURA TOYOTA FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS. I RECENTLY TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO HAVE THE OIL CHECKED AND MARCELINO IS THE REASON I HAVE HAD MY RAV4 SERVICED AT VENTURA TOYOTA FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS. I RECENTLY TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO HAVE THE OIL CHECKED AND IT TURNED OUT MY CAR WAS USING UP MORE OIL THAN IT'S SUPPOSE TO; THEREFORE, THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REBUILT, MARCELINO ALSO ADVICED ME OF A RECALL I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED. BEING THAT MY CAR WAS GOING TO STAY AT THEIR FACILITY A FEW DAYS MARCELINO WAS KIND ENOUGH TO PROVIDE ME WITH A RENTAL DURING THE COURSE OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY REPAIR. I NEVER CALLED TO CHECK UP ON REPAIRS AS MARCELINO DID A PHENOMENAL JOB OF PERSONALLY CONTACTING ME WITH UPDATES. BECAUSE MARCELINO ALWAYS TAKES GREAT CARE OF MY VEHICLES NEEDS I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER GETTING IT SERVICED ELSEWHERE. More

I have consistently experienced nothing but the highest level of professionalism, integrity and customer service from SERVICE ADVISOR, SCOTT ROBLES, representing Ventura Toyota. My 2000 Tacoma Pre-Runner P level of professionalism, integrity and customer service from SERVICE ADVISOR, SCOTT ROBLES, representing Ventura Toyota. My 2000 Tacoma Pre-Runner PU recently turned 14 years old and has 262,000 well driven miles. The vehicle still runs like new (mainly due to the ongoing care of the vehicle by Toyota). Robles will take the time to listen to the customers concerns/needs promptly calling back within the day to advise the status and recommended service, if needed. This is a rare dealership that doesn't encourage you to commit to service and unnecessary expense if not needed. Robles and everyone at Ventura Toyota are "low pressure" and pleasant to do business with. I will continue to consult Scott Robles and Ventura Toyota for all of my service needs. When it is time to consider the purchase of a new vehicle, Ventura Toyota will be my first stop! More

I took my Rav 4 in to have a recall problem fixed. I was told it would take about 2 hours. I told them I would wait. Some time later I took my Rav 4 to Oxnard Toyota, because I couldn't make it to Ventura, and was told I had a recall on my Rav 4. I told the tech at Oxnard Toyota that that was funny I had taken the vehicle to Ventura Toyota twice for the same recall. Come to find out the recall, which was the airbag sensor at the time, was not fixed either time. I also had to deal with Marcielo (not sure about the spelling). He made me feel like I was taking up his time. Needless to say I won't be going back to Ventura Toyota. More
My check engine light came on so I had to take it to a Toyota dealer. I picked Ventura Toyota because I had a coupon from them. I gave them my car to research the issue. They basically used a computer to Toyota dealer. I picked Ventura Toyota because I had a coupon from them. I gave them my car to research the issue. They basically used a computer to find the problem and told me that it was the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor. They is did not do any other physical research on the car. So I called five other Toyota dealers in the area so I can get a better understanding of the average cost of this service. They all quoted me a price of about $1,000. However, knowing I had a $250 off coupon Ventura Toyota gave me a quote price of $1,500. They basically built in the price of the coupon into the the service price. When I told them the other dealers in the area are charging a lower price they told me they could not match the other dealers prices. As a result, I wanted my car back and then they said they had to charge me $115 for looking at the car. All they did was use their computer to scan the error code. They never even physically check. For this they wanted $115 dollars. I was stuck and they knew it. So I had to pay them. I never felt so scammed by a dealer before. More
I bought both of my Toyota vehicles from Ventura Toyota. I take them to the dealership on occasion for specialized maintenance. I took my Tacoma in for 90000 mile maintenance a couple of weeks ago and was I take them to the dealership on occasion for specialized maintenance. I took my Tacoma in for 90000 mile maintenance a couple of weeks ago and was SICKENED by the unprofessional service that was rendered. The service writer was excellent at his job. I left the truck first thing in the morning on Thursday and was told it would be ready by noon. I explained that I expected my truck to be CLEAN and free of greasy hand prints when I picked it up. Of course the "mechanic" found something that needed to be repaired and was covered by the extended warranty. I was told that it would all be done by 5:00pm that day. Later in the afternoon Carlo calls to tell me that they had to order a part and the truck wouldn't be ready til the next day. I said fine and I would get the truck either late Friday night or Saturday. When I picked up the truck, I immediately noted that there were several greasy hand prints on the front alloy wheels, but the rear wheels were not touched (wheel rotation was supposed to be in the maintenance). They saved the spark plugs as requested but there were 2 different brands??? I drove home angry and parked on my new concrete driveway and noticed antifreeze coming out of my truck. Took the truck the next day and was told "the mechanic" forgot to put a hose clamp back on. Later I'm driving down the street an turn on the A/C. The A/C light flashes and no A/C. Called Carlo and he said "the mechanic" must have forgotten to reconnect the plug???? By now I'm SMOKIN MAD. I can only imagine what else is messed up on my truck. Ventura Totota service department did give me some compensation, BUT that will never restore my confidence in their service department... NEVER....
